if You want to be jacked and actually look good it does consumer most of your life because you have to base your day to day activities off nutrition and working out. If you want to be a fat fvck with muscles then it doesn’t really take a lot of time.
its part of my routine, I only sleep 6 hours - wake up naturally really early and get it done before rest of day starts in my garage gym - squat rack, dumbells, pullup bar, dips stn etc. round 40 mins per session 5 times a week on average. only eat 3/4 times a day, minimal food prep, no more than what people eating typical diets spend. did go through a phase 10 years ago of doing the 6 meals a day, carrying food around with me, eating bang on set times, buts it completely unnecessary found it did dictate too much of my life. now in best shape of my life at 41.

results are worth it for numerous reasons. a lot of people I know who don;t train watch tv for hours each night as apparently too tired and need that time to relax/unwind and sit on a couch for hours instead. i'm sure some are genuinely busy with productive stuff like running a business for 15 hours+, but I find it hard to believe that most who don;t work out are spending all day working to build an empire or doing something productive.

I work full time in a job, work on sideline business for hours most days, have my daughter half the week and still have time to socialize an evening or 2 a week or drive my car around for fun and play PS5 some days. Don't have time for a relationship, but thats not on my priority list for now.

Haha. You're the guy who says your strategy is to go for ugly girls right?

You gym guys love to mental masturbate about how great you think you are
Let's hope your girl never gets into a situation where she needs a man around to be able to physically protect her.

This is when dudes like me and Cola would need to step in, as you definitely would not be able to hold your own against jacked men.

I have a feeling this thread may get locked soon. So I'll post the results of my observation of couples in Dubrovnik.

Out of probably 25 that I saw... None were with jacked guys. None were with fat guys. All the couples had a guy who was thin (sometimes even rail thin), and who was usually slightly taller than average. I'm talking like 5'10" (not 6'2").

The only jacked guys I saw were hanging out with each other with no girls around. Also, there were jacked guys working on a construction crew. No females around.

The REALITY of the world differs greatly from the mental masturbation of the gym rat club.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

yes, but also need to factor in that theres less people in excellent looking physical shape too, for one reason or another. its not like someone can decide they're going to be ripped for their visit to the beach in 2 weeks so do a few sessions and arrive at that. can't go from below to averageto excellent physique overnight.

I don't see how that changes anything.

And the few guys I did see that were jacked were not with girls.

yeah, but its a small sample size and no doubt people in average shape weren;t all with women. if you were to follows pans mantra, the alphas were just hanging out with their male friends and banging all the guys girlfriends later. no time to waste with women outside of sex :D

Yea except they weren't.

Does anyone actually believe that nonsense?

the vast majority of people cannot resist picking up some cheap ass crappy cookies in the snack aisle, and you call your lifestyle easy to just pick up? If getting jacked with abs was so easy then EVERYONE would have them!

I never said it's easy, I'm saying it doesn;t have to take up your entire life like some are saying or insinuating. If you looking for something easy or path of least resistant most things worth achieving will be out of reach.

I already have abs without working out. I also have decently muscular legs with the exception of a slight ligament issue with one of my knees from an injury when I was younger.

Going to the gym doesn't solve all your health problems. It doesn't solve ANY of them actually. I would guess that the gym rat club has never been hospitalized with real injuries.

1) Every day you have to track your calories, it is easier to plan ahead happy hour or eating out with friends, but if something just pops up then you have to think hard about rather you want to kill your diet/workout routine or stay good.

2) I don't eat certain foods anymore because of the high calorie count- cake, rarely eat pizza now, normal peanut butter, nuts, chips, cookies, and etc. Do I miss these foods? Not really tbh, but I'm sure there's something everyone must cut out. It seems like to me that you don't have a normie social life which IMHO is the biggest lean abs killer out of anything. Most people do and they aren't going to turn down the weekly happy hour peer pressure they get from their unhealthy friends. Remember you are the average of the 5 people that you hang out with the most. It may seem easier to you because you don't have to deal with this shvt, but I had to cut off friends of mine because of this and this will be one of the reasons I break up with my gf.

3) People will get mad that you are dieting even women that you are screwing and tell you that this is unhealthy and that you have a eating disorder.

You don;t have to track calories every day - I don;t and haven't for years. Yes you need a rough idea of what you're eating, more so when starting out. Of course you do if getting on stage.

I mentioned I go out once or twice a week. In fact my main vice is drinking alcohol heavily a couple of times a month on average when out with friends.

A cheat meal once or twice a week does no harm if rest of diet is good. I get the odd joke from friends, colleagues etc but I haven;t been ostracized from social groups as far as I'm aware due to it. If someones that against it, its not someone I want to be around anyway. I don't force it on others so expect the same courtesy the other way.

You're making excuses for people.

True. It takes virtually zero energy to fix your diet. Except for maybe driving to the grocery store instead of eating at restaurants.

I haven't had a drop of alcohol in over 2.5 years. I wonder how much alcohol these gym rats drink... And then have the audacity to talk about health.

I will say, stuff “randomly popping up” can be quite irritating for your fitness goals. This was a huge issue, and it was killing my gainz for a while. It would knock me out of my caloric deficit.

The best way I’ve found to deal with that is to set up a “buffer.” Every single day, put some calories to the side just in case something comes up. So you don’t have to be OCD or paranoid about what could happen. Additionally, if you end up eating more than you expect, just eat less the next day or next few days. It is a weekly or monthly deficit that matters, after all. You literally can’t mess up when following this plan.

Intermittent Fasting, and a Warrior style diet where you do most of your eating at night, is a great way to create a buffer, and it frees you from that 6 meals a day crap.

Rigid fitness routines are doomed to fail. Your plan has to be flexible, and account for unexpected events to succeed.

I look at exercise like this. If you store a fancy car in the garage and rarely use it then it lasts longer but if you take that car out all the time and drive it then it doesnt last as long. Why put extra miles on your body with exercise? We are the only animal on earth that exercises just for the fun of it. Be like a LION and use your energy sparingly when you need it. Also while you meatheads are in the gym all the time just remember that theres guys hitting on your women while your in the gym and some of them might even be sleeping with your girl while your hitting the weights all the time.
Not to flame, but this post is insane! It goes against all known science or common sense! You gotta be trolling... I know plenty of "lions" as you call them, who "use their energy sparingly" and yes, they have soft, out of shape bodies, pot bellies and double chins...(just what the ladies are after )

There are a gazzillion studies that show we lose muscle mass as we age,but hitting the gym slows this right down,in a good way. There is a guy in my gym who is 88...and still hitting the weights and he looks fab, great posture, proud,a man with a purpose. Then you go into the street and see a similiar age guy hunched over shuffling down the street...what would you rather be ? It really is use it or lose it,and you dont have to hit the gym ALL the time,im 3 hours a week, over 3 days,im in good shape..your car analogy dosent make any sense.Ask someone who has been bedridden for a long time to show you how they look as they conserve their energy...you are of course entitled to your view but this is one of the most ridiculous posts iv ever read on here

Hmm. Would the one meal a day diet work for this? And would it work if I’m vegan?
