Well, since you already mentioned Honesty, (great thread topic, btw) I am going to say Communication. For me Communication encompasses Honesty, (usually, but you can easily communicate untruths as well) and also leads to the formation of and keeping Trust.

I stopped reading your post about half way... (sorry, I'm at work and can't spend too much time on this stuff). It seems as if this chic is insecure, and doesn't want to be hurt. Judging by what you've said I think it's best to leave her alone before you both have regrets. I'll edit to add...
