Maybe the best way to do it is to get her to agree to meet up THEN send them a pic
I'd do it the other way around, send them the picture first then close for a meet. Having them agree to meet you then having them see what you look like, if you're not their type, could be setting yourself up for a no show.

There's no reaosn to feel guilty or ashamed of one's looks.

I think it's important that if we ascribe to being Men of virtue, character and class. Then being Men of Courage we should strive not to play ego protection, and insecurity demonstrating games.

Either the female is into your looks or not.

Accept it.

Be proud of who you are.

And never let your self worth be determined by your looks or some female who doesn't like them.

Do not hide from anyone or anything.
(and do not lie to yourself or try to rationalize about it, gentlemen)

Show them your picture first.

Most females will say that the first thing about being attracted to a man is how he looks.

Be honest, have courage.

Show them who you are first.
never hide yourSELF.

You are a Man. Your looks are only PART of who you are.

I REALLY need to get some better pics cause I'm not having any luck with ones I'm using. I just don't take very good pics. These women I am sending them to are attractive but they aren't all that. In real life I get women of their caliber no problem.

That's really the only reason I hesitate sending unless she asks. Keto has a very good point so I'm thinking about doing it anyway, but it would be a shame to miss out on opportunities because I need to learn how to smile better on cam :)

I have to kind of disagree with one thing though. You said "either a female is into your looks or not". True, but all you have to do is meet her MINIMUM physical criteria. From there you can build yourself up several points in her mind with OTHER factors. That's one of the big downsides to the internet thing. You don't have as much of a chance to build yourself up in other ways.

I commiserate with you, STR8UP,

I take crappy pics, too. There are a few I have which are ok, but most suck. It's embarrassing.

Hang onto the few pics which are good and use them as needed.

Get your famous cadre of sl*ts, strippers, wh*res and sk*nks to take a BUNCH of pics of you, and weed out the bad. Better yet, get the wh*res and sk*nks IN those pics with you.

I kid, man.

Really, though, get your friends to take a TON of shots. Pick the best. It's easy these days with digital cameras.

Fukk it....I sent her the best I have.

One of them was taken by a chick I know who posted it in a comment on my Myspace page so I KNOW it's decent cause this chick wouldn't have posted it if I didn't look good in it. She turned me down when I asked her out in the past and we aren't really that "tight". Another one is the one of me in the red shirt in my pics on Myspace that got favorable comments from several women. I still need better tho.

We'll see what happens with the teacher.

I'm of the opinion of either sending the pic up front or never sending it. If you spend all the time build attraction then send the pic she will likely drop you if she doesn't like your look. If you send the pic up front, then any further correspondence she has with you will be more genuine interest and more reliable. It's basically all about saving your time wasted on dead end leads. If she sees your pic and still meets you then in my experience the odds are very high she'll sleep with you.

Haha....my sister PRINTED that picture and taped it to my moms fridge...

Well, crash and burn with the teacher. Sent the pic and all of a sudden she remembered she promised to babysit her coworkers kids, so she's gonna be busy this week, but she says, "Maybe next week or something" lol.

This is a complete waste of time. There is no reason why every single one of these chicks has hauled ass. Only thing I can think of is that from my post they are picturing a chippendales dancer or something.

I said "I am good looking". I know not every woman out there is going to share that opinion, however, I have managed to pull my share of 7+ women in my life, I have been complemented on my looks, I have even been told I am "hot" by a couple of girls along the way. I can't figure it out.

Is it just a numbers game?

Don't write off the teacher, dude. She may be back.

Pics are are not the answer. I'm a reasonably good looking guy. But, I'm old, and things don't always work out over the internet, and I look like SH*T sometimes------> don't give up. I still can get young hotties; you can, too.

It MIGHT be a "numbers game," might not. Just trudge on, man.

Keep on, STR8UP, I'm on your side. Don't give up, Don't quit. Really.

I've got more stories. Hang in there, man.

You are posting this rockstar ad with all these expectations, when you just are not attractive to these people. If the situation was reversed, and it was a woman posting such a "confident" ad, but she looked... well, not so hot to most, you guys would have a field day!

I just think it is funny... and sad.

Maybe you should be more humble, and the ladies wouldn't be so shocked to find out that you don't look like the hot doctor from Lost.

And most everyone knows online game works good for those appealing to window shoppers. Unless you are high on the scale of looks, you won't be as successful as you would in real life where you can woo them with your better traits, seeing as your looks aren't one of them.

I know I seem harsh, I am just keeping it real.

Denial... it aint just a river in Egypt, babe.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

I am very hesitant to post this because it's just more fuel for the "STR8UP hangs with the wrong crowd" debate, but you are right about the getting younger, attractive women thing. Happens all the time. That's why it blows my mind to get such a poor response.

Anyway, I'm gonna start hanging out at the strip club I'm doing some marketing with. I'm not looking for my future wife there, but it's an untapped resource. my buddy is iin charge of doing some promtions for them and he's bringing me on board to do some production work. He's fukking one of the girls, and his buddy is dating another one. And these aren't the crack addicts with three teeth.....these women are HOT. And they seem fairly sane. The GM is cool too. I walk in there and the DJ is on the mic announcing that I am "in the house" My buddy talks me up to everyone. All I have to do is show up once a week and i can get some action from some hot, YOUNG, hardbodied women.

I know not to expect ANYTHING from these women, but it's been a long time since I've hooked up with a dancer (and contrary to popular belief I DON'T really hang out with them on a regular basis). It would be a welcome distraction from everything.

I dunno....I' on the fence about COMPLETELY forgetting about ALL of this women stuff and get my life on a different path, getting hardcore into the gym again, doing some reading, staying in on the weekends, but I don't kno if that's the answer.

Maybe I can find a balance.

What you are forgetting holmes is these women expect Brad Pitt but they never get that and they end up fvcking some dude that looks like Quasimodo or at least average. I've seen it thousands of times. BTW, where's your pic, Ms./Mr. Judgemental.

A strip club is an untapped resource?

Sheesh, those birds are getting hit on daily. They get paid money to show their tits. Basically, they get paid money to be worshipped by men who are sick and tired of the same minge or lonely. You have all types trying to bang them. Everyone from the college jock to the rich divorcee. You might bang the odd one, but most are bunny boilers and more trouble then they are worth. The only thing that makes up for it is that they are uninhibited in bed and normally very very hot.

Maybe the problem is that you are too focused on women and not focused on yourself enough. Sometimes trying too hard can lead to bad results. You are constantly up and down emotionally. That applies to anything. Work, sports, relationships.

Here is a question for you. Do you still enjoy your social life? If you do, then keep it up. If not, then maybe its time for a change of focus. No point doing something that does not make you happy.

It's a different story when you are sitting in the VIP hanging out with the general manager and friends who know all of the girls on a (real ) first name basis.

i very much enjoy hanging out with friends. My only regret is that I don't have more time to enjoy being around them.

Thing is, an approach that's almost the dead opposite has worked for me. Very general in terms of qualifications, very specific about what does not matter.

The ad was a sort of "anti-ad" that very clearly stated that the chemistry between people could not be conjured up with a "laundry list," and then went on to state in a dryly humorous way what doesn't matter to me (typical laundry list sort of stuff, such as age, religious beliefs, politics, entertainment tastes, etc.), and what does matter to me (character traits, humor, reasonably good fitness, open-mindedness, etc.).

Of course, just after it was up, things started picking up offline, so I never dumped down the ducats to see where it would go.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Subject: ...a life.

Pet.... You are headed to doom.

In fifteen years your arrogance will crash down on
your head.

Simply, a point on the curve, Pet. ...M

What the hell? Every time I see "pet" I hear "Clarice."

I know I'm scared straight!

On or offline, it's always a numbers game.

Don't write off the teacher, dude. She may be back.
No she won't. She blew him off. The only way she'd be back is on some lonely night when there's no one else entertaining her at the moment, but that's like a cat who toys with the mouse sort of thing.

I have been complemented on my looks, I have even been told I am "hot" by a couple of girls along the way. I can't figure it out.
The ones online are seeing a non-animated, two dimensional representation of you. In real life, you're three dimensional, your facial features (I'm guessing) are animated, expressive. There's body language as you move and gesture, smile and have eye contact. There's charisma. Presence. All that is lacking in a photo. Or maybe you're just not their type.

It's difficult to tell many times how good looking someone may be from a consumer-grade picture. I've seen gorgeous women look like plain janes in their photos. Even Hollywood stars can look crappy in a photo.

I'm gonna start hanging out at the strip club... these women are HOT. And they seem fairly sane.
Appearances are deceiving. Had an ex did some stripping in a peep show before I met her, and she turned out to need TONS of male attention and validation. She definitely had "father issues" too. Duh. They take off their clothes to have men look at them; get that attention they crave. Duh. Love that Chris Rock line about how he doesn't buy into their excuse of stripping in order to cover tuition: "What college takes only $1 bills?" The ex used to tell me it was an "interesting social experiment". Duh. Great body, though.

I got this email at 3am last night.
It's the female equivalent to the frustrated angry guys who write women with sentiments such as "this is why you're single, you b*tch". They're all frustrated, which makes them angry, and they vent that anger in their emails. 3 AM on a Monday morning she emails you after seeing your post... talk about not having a life.

You seem to have a lot of insight and know what you're talking about.

With the online thing, it really is mostly about having good pics. Without that it's going to be dealing with brick walls. Some people are photogenic and others aren't, but just about everyone looks much better in a few pics if you take enough of them.

Online is also a numbers game just like in real life and a waiting game. You have to wait until the right buyer comes a long at the right time. That's why I was saying you need to put your best pic up front and sooner or later your bound to come acrossed a girl that's into your look and will be receptive to your game. Talking to girls who aren't into your look or meeting girls blind is usually a big waste of one's time.

Okay, but what's the ratio you should be "closing" on a blind ad such as this?

When they reply they have NO idea what you look like, but I'm guessing they are building you up in their minds.

If I were to post a pic in the ad, that part would be a non issue. But since I have no pic there, the closing ration is going to be WAAAAAY lower. I'm just a bit disappointed that not one in six or so responded back. I was talking to my business partner today who knows his sh!t when it comes to women, and he said that he thought that wasn't an unlikely thing that six women would all shut me down.

Now that I think about it though, In the one dimensional world of the internet pretty much ALL you have is the look to initially attract her. The words in the ad are great and all, but how much "interest" does she have at that point? Basically none....it's nothing but curiosity. So by the time she gets your pic, if you aren't what she was picturing, "her type", then it's goodbye.

So I suppose I shouldn't really get too discouraged with six rejections with not so good pics. I'm gonna dig up some better pics, but without better pics at what point do you have to say it's a waste of time?

Lets say my pics make me look like a 5 or a 6 like our friend iqqi says. If I get pics that make me look like a 7 how much better should my ratio be? I would still bet that unless you look like an abercrombie model it's still going to be relatively low. Maybe one in ten with the current pics, and one in 7 with better ones?

It would be a better idea to put your pic up. Sit back, wait for the responses to come back to you.

Online is purely physical. But no matter how good looking you are, you just won't get them all.
