I'm single and happy the way I am, never been married. Up until a year ago, based on what I've seen all around me in real life and many accounts I've read on more or less public figures, I didn't see the point in it...actually in many cases it seemed like the guy had masochistic tendencies that led him to get married...basically he replaced his mother with his wife, got severely restricted on his freedoms with nothing to show for it. Like for instance this one time I wanted to stay out with a friend, he said he wanted to but he can't, the wife would be upset...Jesus Christ, it felt as if we were teenagers again and he had to abide to his mom's curfew. And I told him, and he was like yeah, that's life.

Then something changed in me and I realized there's a whole new world that waits to be explored, it exists, but one has to prepare himself for it. So that led me to various reading, gained new insights and understanding and that's how I ended up on this forum.
