Tho, you should know about this little trick I started using. Before I would get say up to 40 days, then slip, reset to 0 and lose all motivation. Not good. This time I slipped around day 35 and I told myself I ain't counting this. I'm gonna cheat. No motivation lost. Then same thing around day 80 - cheat and don't lose motivation. Be smart, trick your own mind if you have to. Btw, I feel no urge to watch porn/fap anymore. I only crave women :D
Now, I'm far from a chronic masturbater, but I have never reached anywhere close to 100 days (45-ish is my max). Everything you describe as to what you like better now that you have stopped, I experience now even when I'm not trying to stop. I always notice those little things about a girl, and I actually blame that on why I am so picky. People will point out some girl they think is hot, and then I'll comment on something about her they never even noticed.

And I am never lacking urge/motivation to go for girls. I don't using masturbation as a fall-back at all. Makes me question if the benefit for me is worth it.

After work I was walking with a coworker of mine while she was eating an icecream i dropped her some silly inuendoes, since she wasnt good at getting at this ice cream out of the wrapping. She laughed for a good while and I imagine my stone cold facial expression at the time which only made it harder for her to pull it together.

I've seen this a few times and have been considering it. I'm going to give it a go. I know the best way to start something is not by assuming failure, but I really don't know if I can hack this. It's been a challenge enough not to masturbate when I know I'm going to see a girl.

Anyways, tomorrow will be day one.

BTW, do sex acts with real females count as faping? If that's the case, f*ck this! :)

I see this whole thing differently than you guys do.
I have no scientific research or proof to back up this claim, just purely from documenting on how I feel day-to-day has lead me to this belief.

I believe the reason you would still feel great energy after you've masturbated is because your testosterone levels are still high.
Just because you've fapped once doesn't completely deplete yourself of all the days you went without it.

If you were to continue doing it a few times a day for 3-4 days in a row, I bet you'd start to feel tired.
The dopamine in your brain will at very high levels and will cause you to feel lethargic, lazy etc

I don't think you should see it as Day 1, Day 2 etc
Because once you've "broken" it you'll feel like you're starting all over.
By just cutting it down to once a week you've actually done your body a huge favour.

Masturbation isn't bad, over-masturbation is bad. Just like anything else. Too much of anything is a bad thing.

I am on day 16 and something has scared the **** out of me. For the first week and a half I felt great. But today I saw the finest female in these tight yoga pants...something that I would have gone crazy over before, but I felt nothing!!!? Has anybody experienced this? I believe physically the body can't tell the diference between sex and masturbation, it's all just ejaculation.

If you're banging a girl 3 times a day for 4 days straight you're still going to feel lethargic and lazy.
But I don't think your confidence will be affected. Fulfilling sex doesn't come with the emotions of guilt and loneliness that masturbation has.

Regular ejaculation is healthy for your body so I don't necessarily agree with this thread about trying to go as long as possible without it.

The difference with over-masturbation is the damage is done psychologically. If you're on a quest to chase women yet you continue to over-fap, the constant feelings of guilt and shame and loneliness will take over your brain.
Add that to the physical affects and you're just not going to be as affective chasing women as if you were to cut down to once a week max.

I've chosen to completely give up porn and masturbation and rely on sex with my girlfriend for release. I was finding my sex drive to be lacking because I could have that satisfaction whenever I wanted and I used to prefer the variety of porn to looking at my own girlfriend.
But since cutting it out our sex life has improved dramatically and my confidence remains higher.

I definitely believe there is a link between over-masturbation and social anxiety. It won't give you social anxiety but if you already have social anxiety then over-fapping will heighten the effects of it.
