hey guys. sorry but i'm already on day 7; my friend had suggested that i should take on this challenge a week ago. on day 4, i number closed a hb on the train, something i've never had the courage to do before. you can read about it here (it's approach #30)

I'm in! On day2 right now since i didn't fap yesterday ;)

Goal: No fap till August 19.

I've done this before, went as long as 2 months and i noticed that pretty much no social pressure had effect on me, i could express myself much easier. A bit too easy if i may say so myself. I'm not really able to handle the increase but hey its fun.

Its also interesting to note that in the early stages, at around the first week or two you will notice a heavy increase in drive the first few days kind of like a high point, a couple of days after that you will get lightly depressed you'll notice a low point. Quiting to fap is not all positive emotions, it comes in waves of ups and downs. Thats some material for when you guys notice it as well.

Seems interesting, I'll join the challenge.

I passed a 3 weeks no porno/masturbation then on 1 July I did it for maintance reasons twice then had a wet dream the following night.

Now Im 4 days clean and joining you, the plan is to stay clean forever given that Ill be getting release with girls, otherwise maintenance is planned on 20th.
Anyway trust what Solomon said, your mental abilities will increase esponentially so your physical ones, its not only a matter of hormones but mostly of neurotrasmitters like dopamine.

To me it happens usually when I dont masturbate for more than a week/10 days without releasing with a girl, but it was common also when I was horny but didnt masturbate.
Actually I was surprised to get one the day after masturbation, probably the body wasnt used to all those hormones stored and overdid.

Since visiting this site: www.yourbrainonporn.com i've made an effort to quit masturbating and watching porn. So far my longest is only 2 weeks. I just put some website blockers in place which will hopefully help get me to my goal of 1 month. At 2 days right now so its a long road ahead.

Idk if i believe not fapping raises your testosterone, but theres definitely somehting to be said for its effect on dopamine and dopamine receptors. Hopin after a few weeks my libido will be sky high. However, my main issue seems to be that when I can't sleep I end up jerking off.

Oh yeah i'm still in, its night 5 now. I've done it 2 times before to reach more then a month. It took me 3 years of trying to reach over 30 days.

I now that threads like these, where many people say they will do something usually end up with not even 10% coming through. I know that because i've lied about these kind challanges in the past and i gained the ability to detect people who failed. Guess that the saying is true 'it takes one to know one'.

I'm also assosiating this thread with masturbating, i find that its best to not ever think about it, for me that entails having something to do and staying away from the internet.

You're on day 11, how you feeling right now? I'm still resisting with effort.

Well considering that I just had sex after a long day of splashing in the pool, should be easier to get through the next several days.

Day 5.

One week is easy. 2nd and 3rd week I find the most trouble resisting. Anything past that is smooth sailing.

From my experience, excessive masterbation certainly isn't healthy, but then again prolonged abstinence has a similar effect on me. As I said earlier in this thread, there's a point that I reach where I begin to lose my sexual appetite (around the 2 week mark). If I get to that point I find it best to ejaculate and start over.

I recommend getting a wet dream before you fap again because that is the point were your body says 'its been enough' instead of your mind. Your mind will play tricks on you when you're not fapping, it will try to convince you in any way for you to touch yourself. I think this 2 week mark of yours, is a trick of the mind.

I think i should elaborate on this, i don't mean the physical effect of losing your sexual appetite here, i mean that you think its best to ejaculate.
