For those of you that have read The Mystery Method, I've noticed that some of his tips on the show aren't included in the book. Anyhow, he makes some good points that I've never heard before.

Don't know if this has been talked about, but the fluctuation of all the people(women in particular) that will likely be directed here now that Mystery's show is airing on VH1. All they have to do is do a search for "Mystery" and likely the search results will yield this site. Not a good thing folks. You know how many chicks(worst of all chicks we're involved with) are going to be flocking here. I'm cringing at the thought of this at the moment. Looks like the secret SoSuave days are over.

Another bad thing too I fear is now all the DJ and Pick-Up Artsist techniques will no longer be original and thus will possibly no longer work as effectively on the b*tches. Women will automatically think, "Oh he's getting that from SoSuave, what a loser".

And perhaps the roles will be reversed and the "nice guy" will be raqueting in hordes of ass, since he will be "different" now and chix won't think he's pretending to be something he's not, like they will the guys applying DJ and PUA techniques.

i googled mystery and the first page of results didnt bring up SoSuave (so that's a positive).... maybe the admins could remove a few meta tags or something to lower rankings on google? or change the boards to member only viewing for the next few weeks and possibly restrict new sign-ups for the same few weeks....

i never thought about that...ya if he really wanted to win, thatd be the smart thing to do...i guess theyre all jus really tight and their real goal is self improvement.....which is good but i mean, thats alotta cash haha

Worried about trading on Mystery's system? Then get out there in "the field", talk to women, and develop your own.

From what I've seen so far women know about the show and think it's a joke. The majority have been ragging on the pick up lines. FYI to you guys, do not use the "dental floss" line, women are hip to it.

I was also shocked by Scott getting cut loose. I was actually starting to respect him this episode. He studies the sh!t outta MM. He worked harder than a lot of people here ever will.

And besides Scott, wtf is up with keeping Pradeep? It HAS to be for making good TV, because otherwise, he's the worst guy in the house. That VIP sh!t he kept spouting was so annoying.

Oh well, he'll be gone next episode. He better, anyway.

No sh*t. You're taking my post out of context. I was trying to say that women might think guys are trying to follow a system and trying to be something their not; putting on an act to get a woman, trying too hard = LAME in their eyes. I was also trying to say the DJ and PUA techniques will no longer be original if everyone starts using them. Therefore it won't have the same value as it once did.

I'm not saying it will actually happen, I'm just stating it for arguments sake.

What I am saying is that they already know they are being hit on, but a tv show about being hit on isn't going to change the way they interact when they are being hit on.

If you throw out the exact same lines...yea, you might get called out on it. But it isn't gonna make a damn bit of difference if you are using original material, which you should be doing anyway. I'm not the cold approach type for the most part, but even I know there is ALWAYS something original to talk about.

Here's one for ya.

Walk up to a chick or group of chicks and ask them their opinion on the band Journey. You know, the band everyone loves to hate. Tell them that your friends were giving you sh!t for liking them and owning the greatest hits album, and you think they are crazy, and ask their opinion.

I'll bet any amount of money that you could deliver it Mystery style ("I have to get back to my friends, but I want to ask you a question") and they won't in a million years tie it back to the show, even if they have seen it. Women are watching the WOMEN'S reactions and soaking up the drama, they could care less about anything else.

BTW...I spoke with my cable rep and he told me that the show isn't even doing that well.
