Wow this was a good episode. I use to hate Pradeep but after being the only guy to get a number during the field test on this episode, it looks like he's FINALLY improving. The whole speedos thing at the beggining was weird but other than that it was pretty good. This was one of the first "Day" game episodes where they approached during the day at a coffee shop. Pradeep ended up winning the field test and getting the number, so he got immunity. In the end, Joe W got eliminated which was really dissapointing since dude had a lot of potential. So right now we still have Kosmo, Brady, Pradeep and Joe D.

I've been able to watch the series pretty much back to back (don't ask) and I noticed the same thing. These guys must not be privy to all of MM because it's apparent that they are using the same "material" that they first learned. I mean come on, one guy is still talking about dental floss while another is doing the "finger trick."

Another thing I noticed is that not one of the guys have the basics down to a science. Some have flown in previous episodes but then they would crash and burn (IMO) in subsequent episodes when they did really well previously. And what's the prize of the show? They go on tour with Mystery? He had better give the winner an 8 week MM bootcamp before they make their first appearance together.

Joe W. seemed like a genuinely great guy! He even gave Pradeep immunity, because he felt sorry for him. Sad to see him go... I wanted him to win!

^yea strange that he was eliminated since i thought it wuld defintely come down to Joe D & Joe W, those 2 hav mad game compared with everyone else.

n i think mystery is aware that a real master PUA cannot come outta this, in his workshops even he says it takes approx. a year and a half to become a master PUA or 'something resembling mastery'

Joe could'nt even pick chicks up with a dog. that's sad because a cute dog gets tons of attention from hot girls which gives pick-up oppurtunities.

Am I the only one here who thinks fat Joe will always be the "friends Zone " kind of guy unless he loses weight and fixes those teeth? Just like Mysteries short geeky sidekick. Noone can convince me he will do better than 5-6 looks chicks.

I personally think Mystery is sort of lame. I was embarassed when it came on yesterday because I had a friend over who is a girl magnet and my TiVo automatically changed the channel to tape it. My friend literally laughed his ass off at this show and thought it must be a joke.

He could'nt believe guys would put that much work into getting girls as he thinks it's a breeze(for him it is). He also laughed his ass off at Mystery's short side-kick. He thought Mystery looked like the "cat in the Hat" and swears only girls on Estacy or drunk chicks would even think this guy is anything but a joke.

Pradeep is friend zone sort of guy too. Who are we kidding. He looks like a safe little brother who will get smacked as soon as he makes the move on a chick.

The blond guy and Cosmo are the only ones who really have a chance cause they're at least "normal looking".

He has enough "presence" and charisma now and he doesn't need those gimmicks, those "crutches" but he has become dependent on them.

And you would think that these guys eating, living and breathing MM for over a month now, that someone could at least kiss or F close an 8 or higher, which no one on the show has yet to do in any of the challenges.

Gaming chicks isn't nearly as complicated as Mystery and others make it out to be, and much of what they are teaching is actually preventing these guys from progressing.

This reality show is not exactly a glowing review of the MM, and is frankly a disaster IMO as if I were interested in taking his Seminar, I would really be hesitant at this point after seeing how little success these guys are having.

I mean, if these guys can't close HB8's+ after a month of hand's on MM, then how is a guy who spends a weekend bootcamp going to do?

I think the dog actually got in Joe D's way. What I mean is, it held him back. He probably relied on it too much, expecting it to be a literal chick magnet. Lol. He was centering his game and all his approaches around the dog, and he only made a move if the dog attracted some girl over. If he didn't have the dog there, he'd have to rely on his own skill, and probably would have had more success.

Pradeep was a shocker this time around. From what we got to see of his pick-up, it seemed... actually, really good. I was surprised. He came off pretty natural, he jumped out when she got a call, came back and jumped right back in like nothing happened, and got the number. She seemed genuinely interested. Like her day was better that she got to meet him. Maybe daytime pickup is his niche? I'd like to see what he does next time.

Kosmo was pretty meh this episode.

Brady played that 2-set fairly well, I thought. I didn't see anything horribly wrong, at least. More kino like Mystery was saying, and I bet he could have got a number.

I think Joe W was right get the hell out of that set when he did. Mystery was calling it botched and everything else, but I didn't feel like they were into him at all. I wasn't there, so I can't be certain though. Plus, they weren't anything worth looking at. *cough*

I agree with what someone was saying up above about the lack of really attractive women. I guess they don't feel comfortable enough to go after the cream of the crop, and I don't really blame them, but come on guys, at least give it a shot. The only truly hot women I see them talking to are the ones Mystery brings to the house for the challenges, like the pool party thing this time.

Anyway, next episode looks interesting. The guys basically get to ogle Mystery's two chick friends while they put on a lingerie show. I'm guessing they're supposed to learn... like... how to unhook a bra or something? I don't really know, but hey, hot half naked chicks is OK in my book.

Completely agree the girls they are trying to pick up are pretty lame and thre goes Mystery and the other guys acting like these girls are hot! If after a month of breathing the MM that is all these guys get, I am skeptical too.

I think Mystery is actually a decent looking guy with low self esteem who thinks the only way a woman will pay attention to him is if he dresses like a fool and attracts it and if he puts women down.

As my friend who was watching the show said, this is pathetic. Too much effort in picking up a chick, too much effort in corny lines which may make a girl think you're funny, but you aren't gonna get laid with those corny lines.

As for Fat Joe, the only way he'll get lucky is if he pretends to be Mafioso and picks up Mafioso groupies. Most girls are not turned on by fat cuddly guys unless they are looking for a friend or he's got tons of cash he's willing to spend.

Yeah, shouldn't these guys be going out to clubs to practive EVERY night? Or do they only go out when there is a challenge? I don't think any guy is gonna improve much if they just show up once a week to do some lesson, then go out.

I caught the show for the first time last night while running on the treadmill at the apartment gym.

The guys crying was kind of sad, as in pathetic. You can see from that, that some of these guys have almost zero self esteem, which explains the lack of success they are having.

Mystery probably wanted to take guys with absolutely zero success with women for the show, but these guys have no chance to become master PUA's without alot of time.

He would have been wiser to take guys with a bit more skill.

These guys didn't get a full month of the Mystery Method. I talked to Spoon, and the producers gave Mystery very little time to be able to train these guys.. I just don't get why the producers would do that.

As for the guys crying.. I don't think it was pathetic. They really became best friends during all that time! I'm sure it was pretty tough to see one of their team-mates going home, or knowing that one of them might be leaving..

You could see Mystery holding back crying when he said, "Now you know how tough it is for me." I think it shows that the guys on the show as well as Mystery are real genuine guys and not paid actors.

So what if they're not that successful with women... After the show, I'm sure they'll be drowning in women. I think they're a bunch of great guys, and I wish I had more friends like them..

I kind of ripped the show after the first episode but after continuing to watch it I want to take that back what I said.

Its actually pretty educational in that it shows you

a) girls aren't scary
b) approaching is really not a big deal
c) if you can do JUST (b) without fear, you're already in the top 10% in
guys that can get girls.
d) the rest is just refining your game a bit, (details.) (good story telling, kino,
escalating, kiss close, etc.) which I believe is the easy part.

I didn't think so. Remember the one episode where Mystery was telling that one guy what to do through an earpiece, the guy was actually able to made out with a chick. Mystery does know a thing or two.

Give me a break! That was the cheesiest bit of OVER ACTING I've ever seen. Sure MAYBE the guys have bonded a bit but Jeez it's not as if one of them was going off to war or something. It's funny that they weren't so emotional on LAST WEEK'S EPISODE!

And as for Mystery getting choked up, could that be any more staged? He has had HUNDREDS of students over the years. I'm sure by now he is completely DESENSITIZED to meeting guys, helping them get better and then moving on. I mean he's the "World's Greatest PUA". Would he have gotten there if he got THAT attached to the THOUSAND'S of women he's met over the years? Now, all of a sudden, we're supposed to believe he gets all choked up with a few guys he has BARELY spent any time with? :crackup:

Because time is money. You really think it takes them a whole week to shoot one episode? I doubt it.

It takes roughly an hour of shooting to get a minute of usable footage. I'm sure it was over more than one day, but theoretically they could have shot several episodes in one week.
