Bar's fine. Heavy flat bench and heavy close grips will get you goin good.

How heavy are the biggest db's you got at home?

hey semag,

well the dumbells are interchangable - the max i could get on em are 30kg (thats 2 x 15kg barbell weights btw!!!) but the most realistic i could get is about 13.6kg on either side.

K... then doing flat or incline DB press would probably be ok for you now, but you'll surpass it real quick. No worries, bar bench is good.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm gonna stay here too, I like this journal better. Where will you post your journal? In the powerlifting section or the other section?

lifeforce why arent you giving new updates? btw military press=bench press * 0,6........you have 4*50kg=1*90kg .......54kg=90kg would be the factor 0,6.....so i dont understand why you think your military press is low?? cauz i saw you making an angry face on bb.com over your military press. keep upping it though:cool:

Sorry, I've been feeling a little down lately, too much to do so I stress out and do nothing. And I've been taking it easy because my body felt a little burned out so I got some time to rest. I don't know about the military presses, I just want them to be stronger. =)

Question

Do you ever use an EZ bar in your routines or when you were starting out? [it seems easier compared to straight bar]

is there any real difference in your opinion?

Hope ya feel better soon :)

Thanks!

Yeah, I go with ez the most because it is less demanding on my wrists.

The differnence is that more muscles are involved in the EZ curl so you can lift more, taking some stress off the biceps. When I started out I mostly did straight bar curls.

Actually today i weighed 177 when I woke up, first time ever over 80 kg in the morning. Pretty strange! :cheer: I don't eat so much, I even focus on not eating when I feel hungry and wait until I should eat. You my friend have rushed ahead like a maniac, I cannot believe you are almost as big as me now.

You'll probably break my record man, 42.5 is a joke. I have to rest my biceps more.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

182.3 lbs with Jeans and T-shirt =) If I hit that weight in the morning then I have grown 50 pounds. That would be cool.

My upper body is pretty weak, I don't know why. :/ Yeah, drinking alot really helps with bulking I think, at least you feel fresher drinking much.

Go double go, make that record. :cheer:
