Thanks for the response. I have to say that I didn't like what switch or some others had to say in here, but I have found it to be true. I am keeping the carbs under 50 Grams a day and I am sluggish, but I can feel the difference as long as I have a calorie deficit. Overall you get out what you put in and I need a heavy dose of getting thicker skin and keep persisting.

I got 180 bench today a couple times. Going to try to get 185 next time. I also walked a bit and did tricept pull downs. I noticed that with the switch to low carb low energy, but a bit of a better body. Plus I am turning down suger all over the place. Especially tonight...tonight was a night that I would turn to crap food, but I would rather be tired and get better than eat sugar and be sucky.

I again felt a bit like bla with the low carb diet. I am on day 17 and I just am telling myself that if I want to be #1 I need to sacrifice. I lifted boxes all week moving so I was really sore. I ate chicken, egg whites, Cheese, etc to try to feed my sore muscles. I do notice I am a bit smaller (which is a good thing because I am fat) Thank you everyone for chiming in. I am going to bench tomorrow and really work on two lifts, bench and squat.

Nice, those are my favorite workouts, the ones where you go hard on two big lifts and do minimal accessory work

I did bench today and I got 185 x2 but the spotter put his finger on the bar lifting it the second time. So there is some progress at-least getting stronger. I went for a small walk on a treadmill and tri extentions and some cable flys.

Christmas went well. I got lots of things that I am thankful for. I did as best as I could on low-carb. I probably went over on the calories, but I didn't eat cake, cookies, pies, crackers, chips. I did eat roast, peas, and brocoli. I was able to go for a couple walks during the Holidays. I did my best and it is my job to be happy about it. I feel tired as hell right now and I might post more later when I get rested.

I have been walking more and getting outside. I woke up and felt skinnier today. That is cool. I am trying to reflect on it. It is weird that I don't feel that much better about everything, but it is nice to be able to say. That I have put in the work and now I am seeing results. I ate turkey eggs fruit veggies yesterday.

I went for a couple mile walk today on the treadmill and I did incline bench press and tricep pull downs. I had to work through feeling groggy. I just put in the time and effort and I will see results.

I did biceps today. I noticed more definition in my arms and my shoulders. I try to link feeling good to the difference in my body. I am a perfectionist though. I am glad that I put in the time and effort and work.

I have to remember not to eat so much lean stuff. It actually hurts my stomach. I have been walking a couple miles a day. When I lift I work on bench and squats. I had a buddy tell me that I look skinnier so I will take that. I get to talk about my lo-carb experience to other people as well.

I had one of my friends say that it looks like I lost weight. I also have some people asking what I am doing as far as I am losing weight. I am frustrated that I am still not ripped, but I am hopeful that if I work my butt off and don't relapse in attitude a year from now I will make real progress. I am able to help people as well to tell them what has happened to me low carb. Sometimes my stomach hurts because I think I don't get enough fat...I have other stuff to share about my low carb diet. This might help others and keep me motivated. At lunch I had chicken, shirmp and two servings of broccoli. Meals like that and just an attitude of sacrifice to be #1 day in and day out are going to help me have real progress and help me live a better life. More respect for myself and just good solid character building.

I walked 1.2 miles today and put max effort into lat pull downs. I even made a small video. I had the most rewarding feeling that I have had when my brooks brothers pants fit better. After the holidays most people got fat and can't fit into clothes, but mine became better. There were lots of times seeing cake and not eating it for this to happen.
