When 68% of men say they don't date, I wonder what they mean by "date" exactly. A lot of the player guys on here say they won't take a girl on a date, they just want a "my house and hookup" situation. Do these guys have friends with benefits? Are they using hookup apps? Just because a guy says he doesn't date doesn't necessarily mean he isn't getting sex, or that he has no contact with females in his life.

The plain reading of it means no contact with females. That is why it's called a male lonliness epidemic. From any article that has posted this, I never hear of any sort of positive spin like that. It's usually always means checking out completely.

I'm not sure, but I believe I read that the 63% data came from a dubious source, I think it came from Match dot com, the owner of dating apps. And the 68% from some PUA.
So I doubt if it's true. Maybe 'guys on dating apps', but I doubt that more than 60% of available single straight men are not pursuing women anymore.
The only way they can come to that data is by offsetting the men on dating apps to the total male population, but that would mean they'd be counting men who are in a relationship and non-hetero men. From the 100% of the male population, only 37% is on dating apps, so the other 63% is 'not dating'.

At my job there are many young guys doing an temporary internship. Most of these guys have no gf, and won't be having one soon.

On top of that , if I look around guys at my age I see the same. Most guys get zero matches on dating apps, don't go out and have no social circle that includes women. Especially the OLD thing is noticeable, because "most" people apparently meet online while at the same time "most " men get zero plat via OLD...

Women have a completely different view. It's crazy to see that somehow every hb5 and up has a bf, while every dude is single. So I can imagine people doubt these stats, but

Manosphere got into 15th place in least attractive hobbies. Most women don't know what the Manosphere is and most men they meet aren't into Manosphere or red/black pill content.

MTG stands for Magic: The Gathering and not Marjorie Taylor Greene. Magic: The Gathering is a dorky hobby that I can't imagine would be attractive to a conventional heterosexual woman. My social circle is married to conventional heterosexual women who are somewhat bougie. None of them would have been into guys interested in Magic: The Gathering. @Jesse Pinkman mentioned in another thread that guys deeply into political issues aren't seducing many women either, so the guys into Marjorie Taylor Greene's comments and actions wouldn't be getting laid much either. Most men into Magic: The Gathering are into 6'0"+ guys who are passionate about fitness.

There are a lot of crypto bros out there. I can't imagine too many of them being very attractive to women, unless they were 6'0"+ and fit.

Most women aren't noticing the 63-68% of men marginally attached to the sexual marketplace. They weren't even paying attention to those men. Those were the men in their swipe queues that weren't swiping right on. They were ignoring those men. Those are the men who they ignore after fitness classes (single or not) or ignore on the general gym floor while wearing their headphones/earbuds.

It would be interesting to see what type of couples they are. Is the bf way higher SMV than the girl? Is it a relationship or situationship where he has other side-woman that have taken themselves out of the marketplace? These are all issues that could affect the numbers.

With my biking hobby, when I do see couples in public, I don't notice anything "off" about the couples that I am seeing. They are generally within each other's lookmax with the guy being usually taller (ie ranging from slightly to a bit) than the gal, but other than that, I didn't notice anything "wow".

The thing is not that those men "dont want women".

Those men dont want the cost that it takes to deal with one, let alone being in a relationship and by cost and I refer only to money but also headaches, cutting on their hobbies and basically being a psychologist/hostage negotiation full time.

Oh yeah it's certainly no where near as fun and like I said I another thread I barely have a libido left. Having met so many women in my life and seeing so much of the same behaviors over and over makes it difficult to be interested.
I'll delete a women's number and all texts if she doesn't reply after I ask if she's available a certain day or what time she's off work regardless of how good she is at faking initial intrest.

Same with online. If a women doesn't reply in a day or two I cut them off, again, regardless of any positive conversations.

Another thing this tik tok doesn't mention is you have nearly 40% of men ages 18-35 living at home with their parents, this is a buzzkill, I remember when I moved out with my rommates my lay rate increased 4X when I moved out by myself it went up 8X. I know a 35 year old guy living with his parents and always whines about not getting girls and when he does the girls are landwhales, before when he was living on his own he was at least pulling average or decent chicks. Completely agree with this. As a guy who still lives at home with his parents at the age of 31, its pretty brutal and is among other reasons why I don't even bother with dating. I'm realistic and self aware enough to know that this is a pretty big turn off to a lot of women, none of them want to go to the childhood bedroom of a man in his 30's to hook up. Not to mention that my dad is retired now and he's always home since retirement has pretty much turned him into a hermit. So my only options would either be her place or hotel rooms and the latter would add up quick, which brings me to my next point.

Look at this map of the median price that a date costs in each state. With the current state of the economy and inflation making everything more expensive and without wages keeping up with the increasing costs, dating has become a luxury expense for a lot more men. A lot of them don't see it as a worthy investment either with dates from OLD having an outcome of no second date and no sex, getting ghosted so often has made men want to just buy OF subscriptions or visit cam sites instead and save their money to put it towards other things that have become more important to them.

Actually I do when it comes of commitment since I can commit only once per time and the law makes sure I stick to it.

The thing about women in their 40s if you meet them on apps is they are delusional even the pretty ones can be entitled and insufferable. I have gone on dates/smashed more 40 year old women this year than I ever have and even the ones with nice bodies had the personality of paint drying on a wall or they think they are still 21 and wanna live the party thot girl lifestyle.

To conclude

Personally I think 2024 is the top for the dating market for women, it's just not sustainable. Like a stock market bubble, it's only so long things can go up for women, and the bubble is about to burst! The dating standards now in 2024 are just not realistic and women are actually passing possible quality husbands for a fantasy that 90% of women can't attain (because they don't qualify or that mythical 1% man is already married or lockdown meaning not enough of those 6'5 blue eyes finance guys to go around)

Things are slowly starting to go back to the center but I think it will be more of a noticeable rapid acceleration within the next few years. The truth is the system is broken, and the dating market is a reflection of it. I see women very soon, who will change their mating strategy back to long-term and lockdown a provider husband that is realistic. I know some guys think this is a fantasy but time will tell
