    right. Because of the nature of the exercise, you obviously can not sprint for a long time. I'm not familiar with sprinting, but I'd guess that 10x50m with 1 min rest would get some blood pumped.

    If you train for maximal strength/speed/power, jogging is counterproductive. Would be better to do sprints.

    You were born barefoot. If you must choose between exercising in nike running shoes or barefoot, go barefoot. Everything start at the foot. A bad sole will disrupt the whole movement. Btw, exercising barefoot is not dumb, dropping a plate on your toes is dumb.
