I, however, have a different favorite. I like to say "yeah, it's part of my charm...I'm sure you agree (big grin)" That usually gets a laugh ;)
Yeah, build off of what she says. You could also ask her how her day is going, how her weekend was, what her plans for next weekend are (and if she's free, you could ask her to do something with you), etc.
So how did you transition it? You say you talked about sex, after she mentioned the adult toy store. But how? Were you just C&F about it, busting on her for being sex obsessed or something?

lol but seriously, make sure you follow up with her. Some C&F, make her laugh some more, initiate kino, and you're good to go.
I disagree....I don't think you should completely give up the C&F, but you SHOULD tone it down considerably. Avoid being C&F about her as much as possible, but make funny jokes about you being super smart or something...and that she obviously thinks your charming, etc. Make sense?
