I would stop worrying about her. She's not interested right now, for whatever reason. Something happened. Don't agonize yourself over worrying about what it was either. Start focusing on other girls, and continue the flirting with this girl. But no more calling or texting, and no more asking...

lol what I think he means is, don't worry about it so much. There are other girls you should be thinking about as well, so don't let this one girl get you down. Act like it never happened, and continue doing your thing. Try one more time maybe later in the week or something before you write...

Why not? My prom was a blast....well, not really, but my date was a blast. And $26 is not bad at all :)

Just go about your business as normal....hold her hand, put your arm around her, etc, and see how she takes it. If all is goo, then by all means continue. Treat her like your date because she IS your date. As for hooking up with her, just continue to read the signs throughout the night, and see...

I think you're gonna pretty much get the same thing from most people: Go with the flow. Which isn't all that helpful advice when you think about it, right? Too bad....my prom is in 3 hours!!!

Same here. I went to 1 dance before, but with a group of friends. Holy crap, 3 more hours until prom :nervous:

Yeah, the venue is a downtown hotel, so that would be pretty pricey. Besides that, I think they just want to make some money. And I hope I never have to spend that much each time I go out...I really do lol. Incidentally, I see you're from Minneapolis. I'll be coming there this fall for college...

I have to same problem here.....I already bought the tickets, this is getting ridiculous. My prom is tonight. If you haven't already discussed it with the girl, I'd say you should go ahead and pay it...unless she offers to chip in. But then the question arises, how do you go about changing...

Ok, what I'm trying to say is, how can I change the pattern of me paying for everything. I know, I know, I never should have started, but now that I have, how to stop it? Somehow, saying "you have to pay your own way from now on" doesn't seem to charming to me.

I met this girl about a month ago, and she was obviously interested in me, as I am in her. Because of the timing, and because of a lack of other quality girls, I asked her to prom after knowing her for about a week. We never even had one date...I didn't even have her phone number or anything...
