Definitely keep on givin. Because I know that in the couple of years I've been here, I've learned TONS just from reading through different posts and absorbing the advice doled out by more experienced DJs. And thus others have and will do the same.

Here's 2 things I've used with some success in the past: Sometimes I'll say "hey I read through your profile...for a second I thought we were soulmates, but then I noticed you like (insert here), so you ruined your chances ;) " or something like that...then from there, just do a lil fluff...

Agreed! I've been following this thread, it's been really awesome to see Igetit! and DonJuanna offering their 2 viewpoints, but seriously, why is nobody mentioning the fact that he's pursuing her WAY too much? He asks her to lunch again and again, and she's always busy. "A quick lunch." Really...

I agree with you Atom Smasher, saying "let's hang out sometime" is way too vague and just all around horrible. I was talking more in terms of "let's hang out Saturday, I wanna (insert place, idea, etc)."

This is true...a lot of people on this forum are strictly against texting to set up these "hang outs" but I don't see a problem with it, especially with college/high school aged kids. I'm 20 and the girls I interact with are around the same age. But yeah, I see what you guys are saying, and...
