Like I already pointed out, that must take into account all the ethnicities that I either barely encounter or don't consider "competition". Take little Pedro out of the equation and the average probably goes up a couple inches. (i'm not racist!).
Seriously, they say the average height for males in this country is around 5'9-5'10, but in reality, you see a lot more guys taller than that height than shorter.
"The report [by CDC), Mean Body Weight, Height, and Body Mass Index (BMI) 1960-2002: United States, shows that the average height of a man aged 20-74 years increased from just over 5'8" in 1960 to 5'9½" in 2002, while the average height of a woman the same age increased from slightly over 5'3" 1960 to 5'4" in 2002.
Meanwhile, the average weight for men aged 20-74 years rose dramatically from 166.3 pounds in 1960 to 191 pounds in 2002, while the average weight for women the same age increased from 140.2 pounds in 1960 to 164.3 pounds in 2002."
I am willing to bet the average height in America is still around 5'10" as I already stated. I will probably top out at 5'9" as the doctor predicted (late grower), but as far as I'm concerned I am still just one generation younger than those they measured in 1960 since I have older parents, so I still consider myself completely average. Motherfu-ckers have gotten taller, bigger, and fatter these last few decades....
LOOK at those weight numbers for WOMEN!!! Holy shi-t. I don't know about you but these days the "average" woman is too fu-cking big for my tastes. I don't see how the fu-ck some girl just over 5' tall is weighing 165 lbs... dam-n. Now, hopefully the height thing has been put to rest. I will start a small di-ck thread if anyone else is interested in that
Oh btw, since America's population is now comprised largely of African Americans, many of whom are quite tall, your ethnicity argument holds no water there.
