I'm no Bush fan, IMO he's a corrupt self serving greedy power hungry twit who's using public office to enrich and empower himself and others close to him while also settling a few personal scores with the national resources.

But then I just described 98% of all big league politicians, so if you're gonna try and single him out you're gonna have to do better than making some goofy false claims about "Clinton getting the US out of debt and Bush the US back in" to do it.

Deficit spending in wartime or crisis is the rule. But then Canada always lets big bro USA take the heat so I guess you might not know that. Being in debt is not always bad. In a side note, I'm easily able to write a check to cover my share of my nations debt - can you do the same?

They're all in the tank for the left. Why else? Especially "The New York Times"...God. They are routinely caught downright lying, and rarely issue corrections. Check the stats. 50+% of their total output is Bush hate rhetoric. TOTAL OUTPUT. The Clinton News Network isn't as bad, although their coverage still decidedly slants left. BBC isn't even really taken seriously anymore, as most of their stuff is just the usual anti-American vitriol. The kind that we've come to expect from the international hate-America movement.
Couple things: you mean GDP per capita, not GDP. We're number one in the world in GDP I think.

Where did you get the stat that 50%+ of the NYT's output is Bush hate rhetoric? Who even keeps stats like that? "Routinely caught lying"? When was the last time that happened, the Jayson Blair case in 2003? Come on, man. I get sick of hypercritical programming from the media too - there's nothing like living abroad to make you love America! - but the hyperbole you're so frequently given to makes you seem like your head is stuck up your ass.

The BBC is respected in the world because although it is government-owned, it is often critical of the British government. People value dissent in the press, which is why people tend to dislike Fox News (which, whatever you might say next, is RARELY critical of the administration). So I'm wondering who you are talking to that doesn't take the BBC seriously, as it is one of the pillars of international news reporting.

Yeah, per capita. I forgot that part; my fault.

You don't read the New York Times, do you. I haven't tallied it up lately, but as of January of last year, the op-ed pages consisted of 148 Bush hate pieces in the past 13 months, or 47% of their total output. Oh, and Fox News is the only organization that keeps stats like that. Who else is going to watch them? The San Francisco CHRONICLE?

You're joking, right? Now I don't read the New York Times, as it makes me feel mentally incapacitated, but the last doozy I heard about it was a situation with an immigration raid in which the NYT claimed that during an immigration raid, "a screaming baby girl has been forcibly weaned from breast milk and taken dehydrated to an emergency room so that the nation's borders will be secure." What REALLY happened is that there were two girls, who had pneumonia and that's why they were dehydrated. There was no fuсkin' "weaning" going on. That happened on March 15th, 2007. They fabricated facts and omitted crucial details to advance their pro-crime agenda to make the Democratic Party seem more appealing to those who aren't paying attention, i.e. YOU. Here's what committed left journalist Marvin Kalb of Harvard's Kennedy School of Government had to say about this despicable piece: "I think that lead sentence, which you quoted, is just about the worst lead I have read in The New York Times editorial in years. It absolutely makes no sense."

And yet, I'm the one with the facts and you're the one spewing leftist propaganda. The inside of my ass must come equipped with a television turned to Fox News.

And even more often critical of America. Much, MUCH more often. My far-left boss used to make me listen to the BBC while we worked.

They broke the Bush DUI story, not even waiting the 10 minutes to get their affairs in order like the administration requested of the FNC. Fox News Channel is the most unbiased news channel out there, despite what the exasperated, pot-smoking drag queens of San Francisco have been telling you. Problem is, Fox News provides both sides of the argument while its "competitors" provide one. Thus, Fox News looks disproportionately conservative by presenting both sides of the debate.

I don't really talk to anyone about the well-known BBC anti-American agenda. I live in a particularly dedicated left part of California, and facts would fall on deaf ears.
Your funny... Fox News is one of the most BIASED news station. If Bush did something right maybe the other news stations like BBC and CNN would COVER IT, MORON don't you remember post 9/11? CNN was covering about Bush all the time and even praised him. That's when he had a rating of 83%, but since then he sucked and the raing has dropped to 30%. I bet your one of those few who believe that Bush is awesome... keep telling yourself that ignorance is bliss.

http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=1067

I think this defintion from the site Urban Dictionary of "Fox News" suits you well Dues...

Fox News 1125 up, 423 down

National Republican Bull**** Network. Watched by ignorant, gun-toting, flag-waving ultra-nationalistic right-wing Christian fundamentalists who think George Bush is the new ****ing Messiah or something; basically, the scum of American society who, if they had their way, would turn America in a fascistic police state in order to feel safe from the "terrorists" (aka: "brown people").

Hahahaha, that's pretty funny. But that's what I'm talking about. I think it's hard to say I'm "spewing leftist propaganda" when I'm standing up for the BBC and questioning whether the NYT is the lying sh¡thole you say it is. You're trying to end debate by painting me with a brush that is at least inaccurate. Every news source has an agenda, as I'm sure you know. The fact that Fox News falls closer to the administration than even actual GOVERNMENT news sources (like RFE/RL) indicates that they are no exception.

Ahhh...*SNIFFFFFFF*! Smell that? Smells like somebody's heating up a fresh batch of Kool-Aid. I love the smell of liberal extremism in the morning! Personal attacks aside, where's your proof of a bias in Fox News? I missed that post.

Nah, I'm not a big fan of Bush. Although, I will admit he has done some good. Clear thinkers take all sides into account, you see.

www.moveon.org. Holy ѕhit, I can post a random far-left website for no particular reason, too! I'll take my cookie now, please.

You know any random person off the street can write a definition for that site, right? Did you know that, PeterNorthIsAwesome?
Oh sorry but I guess your too dumb to comprehend what I wrote, so I guess I have to spoon feed it to you like Bill O'Rielly.

Both CNN and FOX is biased, do you know anything about news networks? I guess not... ever heard of SPONSERSHIP? That aside here's so stuff on Fox News...

1. Fox daytime anchor David Asman is formerly of the right-wing Wall Street Journal editorial page and the conservative Manhattan Institute. The host of Fox News Sunday is Tony Snow, a conservative columnist and former chief speechwriter for the first Bush administration. Eric Breindel, previously the editorial-page editor of the right-wing New York Post, was senior vice president of Fox's parent company, News Corporation, until his death in 1998; Fox News Channel's senior vice president is John Moody, a long-time journalist known for his staunch conservative views.

Fox's managing editor is Brit Hume, a veteran TV journalist and contributor to the conservative American Spectator and Weekly Standard magazines. Its top-rated talk show is hosted by Bill O'Reilly, a columnist for the conservative WorldNetDaily.com and a registered Republican (that is, until a week before the Washington Post published an article revealing his party registration--12/13/00).

2. Now it's your turn to provide "evidence" of what good BUSH has done in the past 8 years! You claim that he has done some good right? Why don't you enlighten us even though his ratings declined from 9/11 to 30%.

3. The site I posted was actually a neutral website if I wanted to post your so called left wing biased website I would have posted this http://www.oreilly-sucks.com/foxnewsfacts1.htm

4. No sh*t a random person can write a defintion of FOX NEWS but hey guess what your missing the reason WHY I posted it. If the defintion SUCKED then of course there would be more thumbs down than thumbs up right... o wait but for that defintion it's 1127 up, 424 down and it's all by TOTAL STRANGERS. So it must mean 66% of the ppl the data sample agrees that FOX NEWS is a republican biased sh*t news station.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

That's all you got? You have nothing to say about the proof I provided for you about the New York Times? Nothing to say about the irrefutable proof that Fox News has no allegiance to the Bush administration? C'mon, sean. I was hoping for a DEBATE, here.

Oh yea almost forgot if FOX NEWS' slogan was "We report you decide" why does Bill O'Rielly keep saying "fair and balanced" all the time? Is he too stupid to realize that he's contradicting his own network's propaganda? lol

you guys are arguing about nothing -- all media is controlled by a select few and must offer differing viewpoints to make it APPEAR as if there is a free press!! "Viewpoints are not news!!! Fox is not a news station it was created to push the republican/pentagon/State deparment agenda!!!

You know you are in a fascist state when the media is controlled by a select few who are in cahoots with people in "High" places!!!

Deus, I apologize for using harsh language - I was drinking:) But I am angry and I fear that the US is heading towards fascism and it is going to be people like you who have the mindset of "Love America even if our leaders are corrupt and lawless and taking away our constitution rights on a lie and a false enemy"!! And say, "Our comfort in material goods is the measurement of success and happiness and override our constitutional rights - no matter how many innocent people must die!"

Tyranny - it has been done throughout history kid -- read some books -- the founding fathers warned us that this will happen if the citizenry/media isn't vigilante!!!! There were some Nazis that believed they were doing good – because they had enemies too!! They fought for the love of their country and patriotism! We are heading down the same path! Don’t be fooled – seek and embrace truth!

I suggest you turn off the TV and read a few hundred books and learn what's going on!! The media is controlled by the same small group of people --- ALL MEDIA is controlled by a few individuals - radio - newsprint - TV!!! Why argue which media outlet is best when they all are liars and deceivers and they try to control your mind - The Matrix!!! Read!!!!!!!!!

The internet is our last hope for a true medium of communication for the people!!!!!! They'll soon change this too because they are losing control of the lies - Internet 2 is coming.. http://www.internet2.org/

Deus, you are young – you have a lot to learn!!!

Yes, the next war is this war - there will be no more after this - this is only the beginning!!! The current war is not only against others but it is against Americans - our personal liberties - the sovereignty of America will be no more - next so called "attack" will bring martial law!!! You'll be kicking in American doors soon!

Actually we already are losing our sovereignty and are already in the “North American Union” - it's official name is SPP - look it up! Here is another conservative right winger warning you!!!! We are in trouble! http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965

Oh also, the pentagon can’t account for 2.6 trillion dollars as of 2001 – where did it go??? it is over 3 trillion missing today!!! That is Trillion with a “T”..

http://www.infowars.com/articles/military/trillions_still_missing_from_dept_defense.htm

Do you know about the pentagon spending billions to propagandize news media? Also, CIA has always infiltrated our press - in the hundreds if not thousands! This is illegal!!

There is no “Left – Right” paradigm – you bastards are in The Matrix!!! Why define yourself as left or right? That is just stupid and shows how we’ve been brainwashed – quick mimicking the liars in the media!! Real news reporting is dead – it died in the 1980’s – and there was very little before then!!

There is a complete takeover of all media – this is part of fascism!!! Don’t be fooled by opposing “viewpoints” or liberal Vs, conservative media– they need opposing “viewpoints” (someone’s viewpoint is not news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to give the false impression that there is a “free” press!!!! Wake up – The Matrix has you!!!!

Dues your SO FUNNY OMG LOL or maybe your just delusional. It's also funny to me that you only select the quetions you can pretend to answer. Please answer each points, I actually numbered them for you so won't miss, unless you can't read which is perfectly understandable given your intellect and mental state.

1. So your saying what Bush did in Iraq is right? Well please explain to me... did we find WMD (weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq? NO, oh I thought we went to Iraq to find WMDs so the president LIED to the american people. So far there has been 650,000 Iraqi citizens dead... and thousands of refugees. Ya that went really well didn't it? Iraq War is in a civil war right now.

2. O Bush defeated Al Qaeda and wiped out Taliban...? REALLY why are we still fighting INSURGENTS IN BOTH IRAQ AND AFGANISTAN? Who the hell are we fighting? O let's not forget all those bombings our allied countries went through like the LONDON TRAIN BOMBINGS. You seriously are MISINFORMED probably from watching FOX NEWS. Iraq's state has been worsening ever since the invasion. Now 3000 American soldiers and probably more are dying because of BUSH'S MISTAKE. The war violates every intertional and UN law.

3. Goodjob captain dipsh*t I already praised Bush for his handleing of post 9/11 but hey if he was still doing an awesome job why did his ratings fall to... 30%? That means 7 out of 10 americans are AGAINST what Bush is doing, doesn't it?

4. Do you even know what the Patriot Act is? Your cell phone calls and emails even your internet searches are all monitored by the government, ppl have less freedom. It also gives the right for the government to arrest "suspected terrorists" and "torture them" which is a direct violation of international LAWS.

5. Ok he removed a tryant! Woo hoo how about Kim Jung Il? Iran? o wait and Darfur... ever heard of GENOCIDE IN SUDAN? EVERYONE KNOWS BUSH went to war cuz of OIL. The argument of WMDs DO NOT STAND, Kim Jung Il HAS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, He even launched a missle over Japan, Both China and North Korea said it would use nukes against US, if nesseccary.

There you go 5 points... I dare you to answer them all. BTW Bill O'Rielly is a b*tch you never answered why he keeps saying "Fair and Balanced" when his network's slogan is "We report YOU DECIDE" every contradicting isn't it?

Bush has succeeded phenomenally in redistributing wealth from ordinary people to the extremely wealthy and seeing to it all are more firmly entrenched in their positions. That is, and has always been, his main objective. The "freedom" he talks about is the freedom of corporations to rake in maximum profits with minimum responsibility. There is a greater disparity of wealth than any time in many decades: the results don't lie.

One thing that never changes from this independents point of view. Liberals remain very emotional and tend to stray from the boundaries of reality when describing the right wing conspiracy they believe is out there. This is why many liberals are artists, musicians, actors and homosexuals because they live in a different reality.

And conservatives remain stodgy, focused on facts, but unwilling to change. Business owners, etc tend to be conservative Which is why many are old white guys with alot of money and the frat boy sons they have.

I'm surprised we haven't had a civil war over the polarized thoughts of partisans.

Maybe a message board will be the start of the next war.

I am a business owner. But not the head of a huge corporation. There is a huge difference. The current political climate in the USA has not benefited my business at all. In fact, the economic effects on ordinary people have worked against it.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who supports this agenda who doesn't make at least 100K US per year has been duped. It's not a conspiracy, or any other such term people throw around as a pejorative term to try to discredit people of opposing points of view: it's just the aristocracy looking out for its own self-interest, everything else be damned. And enough ordinary people have been swayed by pseudo-patriotic "rah" "rah" rhetoric, and willingly forfeited enough of the early 20th century measures that were enacted to put the brakes on the pure "dog eat dog" ways of the 19th century to let it happen.

Take a look at the legislation that has passed in the US from 2001 to 2006. It's abundantly clear what has happened.

The current conservative political movement is nothing more or less than a movement to return to the "good old days" of the late 19th century, when the "robber barons" got super-rich on the backs of working class people who could barely get by working 80 hour weeks. While I'm not religious, I strongly agree with the Catholic Church (hardly a "liberal" organization) that paying people too little for their work is stealing their labor.

All throughout the US, ordinary people are working longer and harder, but falling further behind. I see it all around me.

I'm firmly convinced there's plenty of wealth in this country to enable everybody who wants to contribute their part to society to be able to live a comfortable existence working no more than 40 (hell, probably no more than 30) hours per week. And that doesn't require any communistic prohibition of free enterprise, equal distribution of wealth, maximum wage, or any of that crap many misguided Greens go on about: just much better management, and raising the floor, so to speak. Accomplish that, and you would see a drastic reduction in a lot of our society's problems (crime, deliquency, etc.).

This is the direction in which social progress has been going in recent history, and it's the direction in which it will ultimately go. The US has been taking huge steps backward, largely because people have been seduced with platitudes.

MORE personal attacks? Keep it up, and even some members of Code Pink will start to disown you.

I don't remember saying that. Re-read my post.

That's right. Blame America. Seriously, is Michael Moore just whispering these in your ear or do you have www.moveon.org in another window in the background, and you're just going down the list?

No it doesn't. Saddam violated the Desert Storm ceasefire 17 times before we went in and took care of business. We reserved the right to take his genocidal ass down.

Oh, c'mon. You can do better than that...I'm sure you can find a few far-left professors to get some real personal attacks from. ;)

Again, I never said Bush was doing an awesome job. You asked me to name good that Bush has done while in office, and I did. This exasperated you which led to you recklessly replying in this post, forgetting all facts.

And I should care...why? I don't plan on blowing up the country. They can listen to me call up my work to find out what my schedule is all day long. :)

No it doesn't, and no it's not. We use coerced interrogation, not torture. Big difference. And our methods don't violate international laws because terrorists are not uniformed combatants, which means the Geneva Convention is not applicable.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. You want the double standard. You are against going into Iraq to remove a ruthless dictator, but you are all for going into Sudan and telling everyone what's what. I've heard it all before, I live in a very blue state you must remember.

There you go. Anything else, Chief?

No, those two Fox News slogans complement each other very nicely. Fox News provides the news in a fair and balanced manner without trying to sway the viewer one way or the other, which lets them decide. They have the exact same meaning. And Fox has many slogans, so Bill O'Reilly isn't contradicting a soul. Straight from Wikipedia:

"From the beginning, FNC has also had a number of different slogans it included in daily broadcasts including: "America's Newsroom," "The Most Powerful Name in News," "Fox Means Business," "Fair and Balanced," "Fox is Where The News Is," "We Report, You Decide," and most recently, "We Put the World in Context."

Now that THAT little piece of unpleasantness is over. Why did you refuse to answer any other of my retorts besides my examples of Bush's successes? And don't think I didn't notice you completely ignore my calling you out on having no clue who Tony Snow is. ;) You won't win here, Peter. If you keep coming up with random copy-pastings from far-left websites, I will continue to shut them down with facts. No offense, but you really pose no challenge for me. The personal attacks make you look ignorant, and blatant lying only makes it easier for me.
Goodjob not answering any of the questions. I knew you couldn't read. Maybe you should try following my format. You know numbering your points, so you won't miss any. Well so far you havent' answered quetion 1-5 so please do it over. What facts are you talking of? Please post facts that backs so called Bush's success.

AHAHAH wow, so now you resort to personal attacks, I thought you were too "good" for that. What a hypocrite. Do you even know how the porn industry works? Most gay actors/actresses aren't gay and they do it for the money. Normal porn 50-60 k a year, gay porn over 100,000 k a year. lol ignorance is bliss. Actually YES PLEASE DO ANSWER EACH OF MY FIVE POINTS by MAKING FIVE POINTS, I guess I have to REMIND you AGAIN you missed answering...

Don't bother apologizing. I've come to expect this kind of erratic thinking from the far-left. Now will you tell me how the fuсk you confused the White House Press Secretary with the host of Fox News Sunday? (3rd time now) Don't worry about responding to any of the facts, either. You can't combat the truth. :)
Wow thanks for avoiding answering the quetions again. You get a certified moron for that one, I never answered your quetion since it's all from "far left website" I didn't make the point, I quoted it so if you have a beef with that, go argue with whoever wrote it on the OTHER SITE. Wait wait I'm going to say what Bush said "I made the decision based on the information that was presented to me, don't expect me to take responsibility."

Noone agrees with your point on "What Bush good things bush has done while in office." So he removed Saddam, well there's the same number or more killings in Iraq and Afganistan. Civilians are being raped, tortured and killed everyday. So what's the differance? U.S. soldiers dying with them?

You never answered WHY Bush decided to attack Iraq instead of North Korea WHICH HAS NUKES. They even launched a missle over Japan which contains US bases. Or why he's now trying to send in troops into Iran instead of Sudan.
What does living in a blue state have to do with anything? You voted right? If you really wanted then why don't you join the armed forces and actually fight for what you believe in?

Let's do the math Iraq 650,000 dead since operation Iraqi freedom or "OIL." SUDAN Genocide by Darfur... 200,000-400,000 or more dead and 2,500,000 refugee. But Bush wants to go into Iran... not North Korea or Sudan. Please Deus STOP avoiding the quetion and answer it. Why did Bush decide to attack and free Iraq instead of Kim Jung Il or Darfur?

"For the last time. The intelligence we received indicated Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and posed an imminent threat to the United States. North Korea did not pose an imminent threat, thus it made the choice pretty damn easy. That's the third time I've told you this, Petey. What do you want me to do, copy-paste this into my sig for you?"

Did Saddam actually state that he was going to use those nukes on US? No he didn't and wait did we find any "weapons of mass destruction"? Oh ok so that means even if Saddam tried to disarm, he couldn't because HE DIDNT HAVE ANY. Iraq War is totally Bush's fault, it was HIM who decided to RUSH to get into Iraq, instead of WAITING "inspectors" that were suppose to CHECK.

So North Korea with nukes doesn't pose a threat to the US? WTF u smoking? North Korea can easily provide terrorists with nukes, just like Saddam.

Also about Darfur, ok so it's not our business. Well Iran getting nukes isn't US business either. Saddam if he did have nukes, wouldn't have started a war with the US. So the argument that he may have provided terrorists with nukes iS B*LLSH*T since China and North Korea can similarly do the samething.

Actually if you can READ, North Korea launched the missle on Sept 1, 1998 and in 2003. So ya maybe you should watch something besides FOX. Oh you also missed the part when Bush gave orders to troops that they were allowed to engage in combat with Iranian soldiers...

"This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous... Having said that, all options are on the table."
-- George W. Bush, February 2005
