There is not necessarily a one-size fits all when it comes to "The Wall." Women get to it at different speeds. I have known some women who actually look better in their 30s (on account of taking better care of themselves) than they did in their 20s.

Rollo actually has a very on-point chapter regarding SMV of men vs. women in Rational Male. Most women gain a lot of weight and begin showing the bad side of age by 35. SMV plummets by the time they are 32. Some women, not many, can hold this off into their 40s. There is an incredibly small amount of women who I would still consider attractive in their 50s. But they are very, VERY rare.

Men on the other hand will continue to gain SMV well into their 30s (even early 40s) assuming they take care of themselves physically and have some social proof. They will continue to gain SMV until 45 or so -- but it doesn't bomb after that point but has a slow decline over the next 20 years.

So yes - the Wall comes for us all. But it comes much sooner for women who effectively hold almost zero power in the dating world past age 35 (except for men much older than them).

Its almost like women first refuse the best offers , but than when they get older they have to pick a worse option for a higher price.

At 25 its hard to comprehend Life will happen after 30. Controlling bodyweight becomes harder, Chad really doesn't wanna commit anymore, and all the mental issues won't disappear but getting worse. Like you say , the sparkle disappears or feels like forced behavior now. Happened to me couple times recently , I got ultimatums to commit and knew I had to walk away. Funny thing is my recent ex also gave me this ultimatum. I budged, went blue pill and from that moment the whole dynamic shifted and the relationship was doomed. Love can be ungrateful sometimes..
