You know what I think? I think your friends have been brainwashed. Think about it, you and I and countless others know what Makow and many others say abou feminism is true. Your friends probably read the articles, it opened their mind a bit but because of all the years of brainwashing they just couldn't come out and just accept it, they had to find an excuse (the conspiracy theories) and they used that to dismiss everything!
It is not easy to accept that you have been duped. Show the articles to a woman and educate her about the evil that is feminism. It will open up her mind to the truth, but because of all the years of brainwashing and believing that feminism is a good thing they will have to find an excuse to not believe what you say. You just can't turn around years of brainwashing that fast.
Keep on fighting the good fight. Radical Feminism is a threat to society, and specially men. Most don't realize how big a threat.
Well not even friends, just people in general. Theres an incredibly crappy "underground" paper online at my college. It's blog-style, so you can comment. The post was about sex, and someone commented about the greatness of Kinsey, and I was like man you are stupid. He was a damn pedophile, and linked the savethemales article. The person was like wow I didnt even realize and my eyes are really open now. Then they went on to say they doubted the guy cause they couldnt find anything else on it being false, so i had to point out to the dumbass(dont know if it was m or f) if he clicked the psychologists link in the article, he'd see more. Then this other poster(female, probably liberal) comes on saying makow is a crazy conspiracy theorists, and starts saying hes nuts for calling feminism satanism

Long time Makow reader, here. To be honest I don't post his articles for anyone to see, though. I've read just about everything on his site though and I use a lot of his information when I argue to people about feminism.
Use his site as a good source to educate yourself, but don't spread the link to non-believers. They will read his "New World Order" stuff and immediately discredit him, which will also discredit your side of the argument if you're using his articles as a source.

A Canadian Male explaining what "Feminism" currently is
Most people are ignorant as to what feminist theory actually is. Feminist theory is the ethical belief that people should not be judged as inferior based on thier sex( quite ironic the thing is called Feminist theory and not gender equality theory).
The thing is, what women nowadays want, particularily women exposed to the media of the USA, is a complete power trip. Instead of opting for equality, they want to make men the inferior sex.
The first "feminist" movement had women burning their bras and declaring their retirement from the kitchens and bathrooms of their stale middle-class suburban homes. They would take up office as doctors, lawyers, engineers, CEOs just as the men have in the past. But of course, they take it a little too far and clump together with "girl power" mentality, and thus make life a living hell for all professional males, whether they are discriminatory against women or not. And don't even get me started on affirmative action...
So, the 30 somethingth women are now millionaires in their glass towers. However, their youthful looks have eluded them and the spark of their youth has been extinguished. In other words, they were too busy making money and being professional to get a man who was interested in them. When they finally have the free time, the current 30 year old men no longer find them attractive and thus date 20 year olds instead. This angers the professional woman. It seems they can either have success at getting a successful man or success at money, but not both?
But no, there is a way, and they've discovered it.
Most women of the current generation are not believers in equality. They are also not believers in hard work to make money for themselves. They have seen the rut their mothers are in, and are doing the most ingenious thing that they can do to make money and have tons of sex: use their sexuality to get good jobs AND get men who are in demand.
The female of today is smitten with an entitlement complex: basically, if they want it, they deserve it, because they're women. No other reason, just that. If they are not given it they will do whatever dastardly deed it takes to get what they want, and without regret too, because they should've been given what they wanted in the first place. They aren't at fault for anything - You are at fault for not being at their beck' and call.
That is why guys today are very critical of the North American woman. The media of the USA perpetuates the entitlement complex. The successful women on TV are all sexy, and use their sexiness to get things. Look at Paris Hilton - gets everything she wants for just 'being a girl'. Look at the candidates on the Apprentice 2. Look anywhere you want on TV. The current message is girls are entitled to anything they want provided they are sexy.
For instance, experiments have been done that show that a sexy demanding girl with a **** resume and answering in only yes/no answers will get a job or placement faster than an ugly girl with a good resume and well thought out answers.
So sexy women with attitude problems get the job, the $$$, and since they are sexy, the men as well.
This is the current state of "feminism" and guys don't like it.

That absolutly right, but he have to remember that it goes both ways ... Men and women are guilty of the same sort of agression against each other, but in diffrent ways.
That is true, rgeere, but the onus is on men nowadays to accomodate for all the BS that women try to pull.
Another facet of the US media: very few commercials or TV shows have the man as the leader of the house, or even the couple as equals. Instead, its the big idiot man who has to depend on his wife/girlfriend to make decisions for him. Way to pander to the AFC, networks.

I would go as far as to say that its a mind game that men play on themselves. It's up to us to pander to the sexy demanding woman. If we all don't, then we win and maintain our dignity,and even out the playing field a bit.

Or you guys can do what I am trying to do, weed out as many women as you can until you find a good one that doesn't try to BS and is generally honest.
The only problem is that means you must be generally good and honest yourself, and that can get you hurt if you don't know who to trust. It is a sad sick world we live in.

I'm not so pessimistic. I think I am just as wary as the rest of you when it comes to bad women, but I have personally seen and witnessed some very good ones go off to other men. The only way I'm going to get that sort of happiness is to find reason to be happy, and that's not to sit around and whine about what bad women do.
I do not believe that my post constitutes pessimism. It is an accurate representation of today's society.
It would be entirely beneficial for people to realize what is wrong with the world, and to not fall into the trap.

Female Entitlement Complex in my opinion isn't the same as Feminism.
I think its just a new term for "greediness." A specific, female type of greed to be sure, but nothing new.
Hot women of the past have been able to exploit their beauty to "marry-up" the social ladder, today they flaunt it to climb the corporate ladder as well.
Love it or hate it - a major component of a woman's worth to a man is her physical appearance. Because of that, we overvalue hot women in the workplace. The way I see it, the ones who have most to complain about are ugly women - because despite their abilities, we're NEVER going to take them seriously!
Feminist theory has more cynical roots than that. Read some Woollestontoncraft (I KNOW I've spelt her name wrong!!) - 19th Century female thinker who is a founder of feminist thought. She basically attacked the idea that man and woman are essentially different. Women and men have different genitals - after that there's no real difference. (Her argument)
Modern feminism attacks men for being male. Read some Andrea Dworkin.
What you're calling feminism has a male equivalent that is just as prevalent. What you're calling feminism isn't particularly screwing up the planet - its been here for years and isn't going anywhere while we have testosterone and red blood.
