Ditto. My company sells to investment banks, law firms, and large corporations. I have a bit of experience in corporate sales as i work in account management.
What are you selling? My experience is always finding the right person to talk to. Sometimes that takes a **** ton of calling and being helpful/friendly to people while letting them know, you need to talk to the decision maker. I start with an email which they most never respond to. Follow-up with a call and voicemail, and then follow-up with another call/voicemail, then email again, and i keep doing that until i get a call or they tell me to go away.
Once you get the call, since you've been in sales, you just work on prioritizing your time between people.
