Perhaps what Trader was expressing in his OP was a lament that women generally do not offer men their APPRECIATION for men's skills and accomplishments.
John Grey writes about this in his Venus and Mars stuff. Woman seek love and committment from men, and mne seek appreciation from women.
In terms of practical invention and survival tools, it is true that we would still be shivering in grass huts, talking about our feelings ( and starving ) if the development of civilisation were left to women.
Perhaps the OP is expressing resentment that we men, who have built this world and designed and implemented innovations, are now treated with contempt by women who feel entitled to take all the benefits of our labors and sacrifices without acknowledgement.
Perhaps what Trader was expressing in his OP was a lament that women generally do not offer men their APPRECIATION for men's skills and accomplishments.

All sarcasm aside though... on a scholarly level the feministic approach is one of the biggest frauds of the century. It's almost laughable up until you realize just how mainstream it can become and everyone begins to eat it all up. It seems almost like they are trying too hard to subtly water down the great minds that have done so much for society, while at the same time painting an illusion of some supposed female superior that is falsely labled an "equal".
I don't ever buy into any "centric" stuff as I believe it's sole purpose is to push an agenda based on how a certain group thinks or feels the world should work. This is no different. In fact I think that a lot of what we regard as history that have been taught in our school system and textbooks is filled with bs, but thats a whole different story. If you read up on enough of these it's almost always the same ****ing concept of "the victimized exceptional woman outsmarting her male oppressors" and such. Give me a break, I could have came up with something better on a bad day.
I have absolutely nothing against a woman attempting to better herself and contributing to society but let a man be a man. Ha! This is barely a debate about women as it's a woman bashing thread basically stating that women are NOT creators and only copy-cat EVERYTHING that men do. This is NOT TRUE, not based on my personal views, but based on HISTORY and even TODAY'S economic progressions.

I don't want to descredit women for whatever contributions (or lack of) they may have made no matter how big or small. Re-read my other post and you'll see that I explain as to why I can't really buy into a feministic view. At least give me credit for trying. It has nothing to do with ego.
