These benches - are you doing 3 sets of 5? or just 3 reps per weight step up?
I mean it shouldn't really matter as long as you pust to exhaustion/failure by the end of the working weight, but it doesnt seem like much if theyre not sets:nervous:

try doing them as sets - push at least 8 into each set, you'll notice endurance, strength going up.
