Come on let's work it to the bone
My schedule has never been as packed in my life as recently. I am constantly interacting with people so I am not awkward or shy like I can be without constant interaction.
For example, at my old job, I've turned into that guy that has a personal saying/joke for like 10 different employees that gets a smile as soon as I step foot on the job. At my office admin class I'm the young buck that the teacher 'makes her wish she was 40 years younger' (well actually, now that I typed that out, I don't know if I should be citing that as an advantage in my social life, :\) At my new job, I'm the guy who few know much about and most want to know more about. They say your social skills are a muscle and mines have been doing extra sets in the gym.
However, this puts me in an awkward position...
On the one hand, not only am I more social but I am making decent money working a 60 hr/week between two jobs, especially in this economic climax. I am making money and as a result when/if I move away at the end of the summer, I can live much more comfortably knowing I sacrificed now. Ant and the grasshopper personified niggahh!
On the other hand, I have NO free time. I mean the people from my jobs are cool, but I aint tryina start no extended relationship with most of them outside of work. As for my life-long friends since elementary school, I only see them when I bump into them at the club. They don't even call to kick it coz they know I got a full schedule. If I plan on going away for an extended period of time I need more time with the people who mean something to me. I want to have fun with them and do alla those things that make for a really memorable summer.
Here is what my schedule looked like this past week fellas:
