In SoCal the going rate is about $3200 a month. If you want Todd Pletcher, you can add another grand to that

Pletcher is a giant waste of money. I can't stand him. His horses are well taken care of, sure, but all he does is play the numbers game.

There are some good horses (like Octave) who could have been great with a better trainer.

dont' get me started on todd pletcher man. He takes care of horses? How about running Rags to Riches in a Grade 1 after she hadn't run for 98 days, and her last 3 works where in 1:04, 1:15 and 1:14. This coming from the best filly I've ever laid eyes on and can run 1:11 in her sleep in workouts.

He is a butcher. The avg nubmer of starts a year for a T'Bred is 9. His is 4.6. Look at Scat Daddy. I truly feel Scat Daddy might seriously be on the same level as Curlin/Street Sense/Hard spun however Pletch ignored te fact that he has horrible feet, ran hhim into the ground to get him to the derby instead of giving him time off and now he's done.

I can't stand todd pletcher. Or D'Wayne Lukas or Bob BAffert. They are all freaking butchers. Pletch is better than thoose two but he is still part of the butcher shop.

what has pletch done to get all these milliond ollar babies that he still can't win big races with? Fairbanks is a 1.8 Million dollar Giants Causeway colt that can't win a grade 1 on dirt or turf.

the green moneky..16 million and can't win a RACE.

Any Given Sturday? 1.4 million

Cowtown CAt? 1.2 million

Scat Daddy? 450k

Rags to Riches? 1.9 Million

Harlington? 4.5 Million and he can't hold the damn horse together with allt he band aides in the world, and god damn that's a good horse

Half ours? 4.6 millino dollars and was retired becuse of injury

He was given a lawyer ron, after he had already won over a million dollars and he is no better than he was last year. he is still rank and he still can't beat anyone important

The only two horses he did anyting with.. well 3 that I am impressed with is Rags', Ashado and Spightstown. And the first two could have trained themselves. In fact I know for a fact that Todd had nothing to do with Rags to Riches because he is based in Belmont and I used to see her every day at Santa Antia park durning the spring, trained by his assistant Whity mcarthy. Same with Ravel. which oddley enough are his best 2 hores.

Look at Rick Dutrow.. he took a horse that couldn't win a allowence race..literarly and in a year and a half won the Breeders cup Classic (Saint Liam)

That's a trainer.

Richard Mandella, who I am strongly considering to be my trainer, won not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 Breeders Cup races in one day in 03. Todd pletcher in 10 years hasn't won 3.

Ron Macanaly went down to Argenteina and saw a filly that he paid 300k out of pocket for on first glance.. turn around, brought her to america and won 2 Breeders cup races with her.. and she' s considered to be one of the top 100 horses of all time, Bayakoya. He also took a horse that threw temper trantrums, turned him out, put him on grass and babied him to 8 millino dollars in winnings.. his name is John Henry (Rest in Peace). Also paid 200k for a horse in Argentina a gain, brought him to Cali, and won 3 Straight Grade 1's including the Pacific Classic.. Candy Ride

so this Todd Pletcher is such a great trainer is bull ****. He knows how to talk to people and that's about it. I wouldnt' send my dog to him.

but shoot.. at least D'Wayne could win a big racenow and then. For gods sakes he won the kentyucky derby with a girl! Trianed the best filly in the 90's in Serena's Song. Bob Baffert took a horse that was running in claiming races, literarly, Charasmatic, and won 2 parts of the triple crown with him. But look at who he found a way to run into the ground and it's a whoose who of horses. Indian Charlie, Vindication, Point Given, Officer.. This year he had a horse called Saint Paul and another named Air Commander, both would have went on to be Very good Stakes horses, but no.. Derby or bust for ole bob.



Look at the 4.6 million dollar 2YO he has.. I cant' spell his name. 2 starts. you wont' see him again.

Look at J Be K. Broke the track recrod in his first start. that was 3 months ago. havent' seen him since.

Point Ashley? Retired when she was 2? WTF! she's a FILLY! fillys can't even go to stud utnil they are 4.

word on the street is you might get your wish next year. I heard that the owners were peeved because they wanted to face rags to riches in the gazelle but todd wouldn't allow it becuase he didn't want rags to get beat.

However in your pick 3, replace kip deville for excellent Art, so you will still get to cash in on Smarty Deb

there is a difference. sportsbooks are offshore and yes they can at times be a hassle. Also, IRG which is a sportsbook in las vegas is now under FEderal Control and no one is getting paid, because they were doing business offshore

WAY to fast in the morning workout and got chewed out for it in tne news.. so what does he do today? He lets a 3YO filly go 21 and 1/ 44 flat for a half mile. the only time I'ves een fracitons that fast are on a downhill course in Santa Antita and even then that's smokin. WTF was he thinking! They put a bit in the horses mouth for a reason Eibar.. pull on it.. All he had to do was slow her down just a slight bit and he wins that race. My freakin gosh how dumb can you be.

I decided about the 5th race, when Boca Grande, a horse he woudl have walked over her field finished off hte board, i was going to use the day to see how the track plays for tomorrow..b ut when Corinthian went from 7/2 to 9/2 I just coudln't sit back and not put anything on him.. the only way I saw him loosing is if he went crazy, and he's been a good boy recently, so I Put 200 bucks on him and told my GF if he wins we are going out tonight(which we were doing anyway but you get the point)

when they turned for the stretch the race was over.. it wasn't so mcuh he was that much better than the field, just look at the time, that's a normal Grade 1 mile time.. but wonderin boy faded and discreet cat wasn't himself. Diamond Stripes entered the wrong race, he could at the very worst picked up a 200k 2nd place check in this one.

you are a better man tan I am.. I hadn't had a clue in that race. I'm glad however that Achill island didn't win because it tells me the Europeans are beatable tomorrow.

Now.. I didn't have anyting on the first race, because I am not taking 9/2 on Dream Rush, that's too low, but I thought she shoudl win. LIke I said, I am only right 35% of the time.. the trick is to get a positive ROI for thoose 35 percent. you can't bet every race, you will come out a loser. you have to wait for prestine betting opprotunities. The best Dirt horse in te world at 9/2 is a prestine betting opprotunity

Eibar Coa "(te jockey of Dream Rush) made the news earlier this week because he raced Barcley Taggs prized two old, Tale of Eakti who will race otmorrow.. WAY to fast in the morning workout and got chewed out for it in tne news.. so what does he do today? He lets a 3YO filly go 21 and 1/ 44 flat for a half mile. the only time I'ves een fracitons that fast are on a downhill course in Santa Antita and even then that's smokin. WTF was he thinking! They put a bit in the horses mouth for a reason Eibar.. pull on it.. All he had to do was slow her down just a slight bit and he wins that race. My freakin gosh how dumb can you be.

Maryfield is a good hrose, but with a half smart jockey, she doesn't win.

I didn't have Maryfield (wtf?) but there's no way in hell I would have bet on Dream Rush or La Travatia in that race. I saw that pace duel coming a mile away and those two did exactly what I thought they would. Surely you considered it to be a possibility.
