Vincent...I am a long time member here. I was the person who originated the "DJ Photo Challenge". It was I who started the thread that the other thread imitated. It says so in the first post. The topic is "MY" Baby. Just like Pook's ******** topic is "HIS" Baby. Would you expect Pook to post on someone else's "********" Thread instead of being able to have his own? Same thing with the guy who started the Bootcamp thing. Truth be told...I'm attached to the topic since I originated it.

When Eternal locked it, he essentially INSULTED me and gave my "Baby" to someone else. And YES, I'm VERY angry about it.

I have an issue with censorship as well. I think as long as I communicate on topic with respect for my fellow posters, and as long as it is relevant to the discussion at hand, there should be no problem with it.

I have no problem with moderating discussions. The discussions here are much more casual and easy going than what you can find at Fastseduction.com. That's why I'm here instead of there.

However, when the moderators appear to feel no need to justify their moderation, and appear to be young and on a power kick. That is frustrating.

It is apparent that the moderation here seems to be of quite a different quality than what can be found in other forums. Ideally the moderators should not be seen or heard except in blatant cases of abuse. Yet, there is a different philosophy here. The moderators are involved in the community. Now, that is not a problem in and of itself. The problem arises when that involvement now becomes an abuse of power. When the moderators feel that they can do as they wish because they have the power to do so, and feel no need to explain their rationale or motives. I'm not saying that the moderators here are at this level, they have been at least willing to discuss the issue, somewhat. However, the more arbitrary the level of moderation, the higher the level of distrust among the users. If you need to feel superior to the other members in the forum. Have fun in your moderators forum. That's what it's there for. Feel free to call everyone on the board an idiot. But, don't do it in public. It's bad for the morale of the board. And not helpful to anyone. How does calling anyone an idiot or a loser help? I may think you're a ____________________, but you won't see me call you that in public. It doesn't serve anyone's purpose.

I don't feel you should have to explain yourself in every single issue. However, there should be some sort of expectation of what we can expect, and it should be consistent and fair.

For now, I'm going to go out with my young doctor friend, so she can take me out for a steak dinner. Perhaps I'll feel like a loser for meeting her on the internet. Probably not however.

Actually, if it had of been my thread the moderators wouldn't have had any problems with it in the first place. I have a way of dealing with badly behaved posters that stays within the range of what's considered acceptable behavior.

Wyld - Your original picture thread was old. Too old. The site has a timer that deletes threads that are over *insert time here* old. Therefore, that one was gone. So someone decided to re-vive it by posting something and giving you credit for starting the original challenge. After that however, you hold no claim to the thread. Master of the Universe isn't coming on here saying "I started Bootcamp, so I should have control over everyone doing the Bootcamp journals!" Yes, he's still around.

Romeo - It's fine as long as you communicate on topic with fellow posters. We justify our actions, but people like to jump on us for seemingly no reason. Trust me, we have fun in the moderator forum. However, would you not jump back if you are attacked?

Eternal, I tried to use the other thread to continue the "DJ Photo Challenge" tradition. However, the original thread was a fun, lively and positive conversation filled with people complimenting and encouraging each other. When I attempted to continue that tradition on the other thread, I found that everything was being deleted. That is NOT what I had in mind when I posted the new thread. Basically, you $hit all over my attempt to revive what I began several years ago. I'm NOT impressed by that.

I'm NOT impressed by a few threads on me closing a thread.

Look, I'll say this as clearly as I can:

Your post was fun and lively with positive stuff. The new thread wasn't, so another moderator and I went through and cleared out the replies to freshen it up. We also agreed that it should have ONLY pictures in it. If you don't believe me, go to the thread and see his reply in there.

The new thread wasn't yours, so don't say I crapped over YOUR work. That'd be like the person that came on here and started talk about "kino" saying all these new versions of kino is crapping on him.

You're the one who told me that I had to use that thread. I didn't choose it. I didn't even see it because it didn't show up on my list of threads. You instructed me to use that thread rather than start a new one. When I did that (attempted to use it for the purpose I intended to use the one I started) you just deleted one post after another.

Wow, so you had to post in a thread that was started before yours. There were guidelines in the thread to begin with and by deleting your "guess my age" stuff, I was keeping up with the guidelines. Like I said, go into the thread and see the reply by the mod I talked to. You seem to be getting all upset because I did what i was supposed to do.

I don't see anyone else complaining when a mod closes their thread and points them to a thread that was started already.

Eternal...it was NEVER my intention to start a picture only with no conversation thread. That is what YOU are ATTEMPTING to cram down my throat. That is what your problem is...you are hell bent on insisting that everyone think like you and prefer what you prefer. Life doesn't work that way. I have NO INTEREST in browsing photos and filling up my PM box. What I DO have an interest in is sharing photos with each other and engaging in dialogue ON THE THREAD.

Your VERY unbecoming trait of expecting everyone to think like you and using your ability to delete and lock threads to enforce a policed "Eternal-think" forum is denying people the most basic right of having their own tastes, opinions, ideas and visions. That is why you feel like everyone thinks you're an a$$ just because you're a moderator. They don't respect you because you don't respect them and abuse your moderation priveleges.
