    Yeah, just holding the weight up for me is the hardest part... I feel it more in my abs and lower back than anywhere else. I can see it being a great deadlift assistance exercise.

    Can squats make your appendix burst?

    Get checked for a hernia. Don't lift again until you do. I had the exact same symptoms a couple years ago, it turned out to be an inguinal hernia, had to have it surgically repaired. Dammit, I just realized this is a 6 year old thread :o
