    Ethics of stealing a girl

there are no ethical upsides to stealing somebody else's girlfriend. it's underhanded, low, slimy and not a good long term solution. if you're going to do it at least have the guts to accept what you're doing.

Don't be good friends with women

quit buying into this bullsh!t. some women are b!tches, love drama, and make awful friends. maybe your female friend is an example of this. but some guys are d-bags, love to ****block, and make awful friends. are a lot of women b!tches? HELL yes. are a lot of guys d-bags? HELL yes. but saying...

I called my gf and her family all laughed at me

stop wasting your time with her. is it that big a deal? maybe not. there are also plenty of girls out there whose parents won't act like complete jackasses to you.

are you saying that overcrowding in American cities is contributing to our high crime rates? because last time I checked crime rates had nothing to do with total population.

Good post Marlimus. I'd say that there is certainly a correlation between severity of punishment and a reduction in crime rates. There's no evidence that the death penalty deters better than life, but (not to be extreme, or anything) life and the DP certainly deter murder better than a 1000$...

I'll write a better response later, but just real quick now... I thought you might be doing that by calling the Scandinavians faggy, but there were no quotes. sorry that I misunderstood you. also, the New York prisons technically had a rule of silence, but this was never enforced.

those prisons were anything but based on true rehabilitation. The Quakers made the prisoners remain silent at all times and for the most part they were confined, alone, in their cells. Mental illness was much higher in the Quaker prisons than in other prisons, and when Charles ****ens took a...

you found one isolated incidence. the fact is, Norway, Sweden, and Finland have the lowest crime rates in the world and among the lowest imprisonment rates and the nicest prisons. I'm sure overall wealth is a factor - but these three countries also have the most comprehensive social welfare...

clearly repeat offenders should be punished more severely than first time offenders. However, the fact that these cases deal with third strike laws does not change the fact that the punishments were horribly disproportional to the crimes committed. Stealing 200 dollars worth of children's videos...

actually, the best way to reduce crime is to increase the certainty of punishment rather than the severity of it. Less than half of all of the crimes committed in the US every year get reported, and only a small percentage of those are actually solved. Statistically speaking, if you're a...

DJ Opinion requested: AFC move or All-in Bet bravery?

Look, don't get me wrong. Cancer is a terrible thing. But this girl CLEARLY enjoys playing victim and she has clearly just been stringing you along this entire time. Breaking up with you "because she's depressed" and hating it when people try to comfort her? this girl is nothing more than an...

if she still loves you, why did she break up with you? all she wants to do is string you along and lead you on.

If this girl deserves for you to be a jerk to her, then by all means, be a jerk to her. I'm sorry that she's having family problems, but oh well. everybody has issues in their lives, how you deal with them determines what kind of person you are, and it sounds like she's dealing with her...

FR: Today was the end of our relationship.

Don't give her the benefit of the doubt. look at this situation from an outside point of view. when it comes down to it, she was completely and utterly selfish by breaking up with you. pushing you away and acting cold towards you isn't going to help her solve her problems. she's making excuses...

    friends with benefits.

persuade her? stop thinking so hard. invite her to hang out, make a move, and take it easy. don't put a label on your relationship with her. if she brings it up, tell her what you want, but not until then.
