I got into a relationship with a girl that lives in the middle east. I never expected it to go this far. Fast forward almost 4 years and we are engaged. Parents met and everything. She is head over heels in love with me.

Due to complications she was not able to get any visa to come to the USA ( i really didnt want her to come anyway). She still wants to be with me and wants me to either move to her or find a 3rd country for us to start a family.

I am having second thoughts about having children overseas. I make enough to support a family but I can only make money in the USA.

I know some people work in one country and send money back home. I dont know if I can be away from my kid for months at a time. The kid might lack fatherly discipline.

I am wondering how people do it and still raise functional kids?

Btw I had a central American roomate whose father worked in the USA and sent money back to Guatemala. He turned out very well and he is now an engineer. So it can work i guess. Idk.....

Btw I found that Andrew Tate clip after I was already involved with this girl. She is great and I wont have to worry about divorce rape but still....

Do you know what you want?

You say "we are engaged", but also you "never expected it to get this far", and also "parents met". You're taking all these steps to progress the relationship, and then questioning how the relationship progressed.

If you're worried about "divorce rape", you should get a prenup. If you want to be cheap, at least give her enough time that she could get the prenup reviewed by a lawyer. Better yet, you two can each get a lawyer to represent you, and go over the prenup. It's a good idea to offer to translate the prenup to her native language. Divorce doesn't require bad intent - people can grow apart or realize it was a mistake. A prenup dramatically lowers the 50% chance you lose 50% of your assets.

I don't get the appeal of an extreme long-distance relationship where you can only visit a few times per year. If this is your first or second relationship, I suspect desperation could play a role.

I have been in many relationships. I have also been with alot of American women. The men that go over seas are usually not desperate. Desperate would be marrying a fat American single mother who will divorce you for sure.

I dont want to get married to an American under American laws. I ( just like most men here) have seen too much.

Honestly the new American dream is to leave America. I just have to stop being stupid and find a way to make money outside of the USA.

Btw prenups are not that bulletproof. Also she can still get you for child support and alimony. Also she can say you abused the kids ( happened to a good friend of mine). Naw I rather take my chances overseas.

In the end it will be the passport bro's laughing their azz off about the simps that fight over the last free place in a poly-relationship in any western country.

@OP How did you meet that girl? What field are you working in?

Whatever you do, DO NOT bring her into a western country. She might adapt and become a western woman, because she can.

Exactly! I was kind of happy when they denied her K1 visa application. I was so relieved. Right now she is submissive and pleasant. I knew that if she got to the USA it was only a matter of time for her to change.

She told me that at the Visa interview they were already giving her pamphlet and materials about domestic violence and calling the police etc. She was shocked.

I met her on a language learning app. I met another woman on this app and went to go visit them. No regrets. Good experiences. That could have been a thing but I didnt want to cheat.

Guys have no idea the world they are missing if they dont dip in the international market. Its like fish in barrel.

I worked as a lab tech/ supervisor for years now I do fulltime ems. So they are not high paying jobs and I cant do them online.

I will have to figure something out.

You sound really naive about things I have to say.

I don't care if the women is Mother Teresa, the way she treats and acts towards you now can NEVER be used to determine how she would act towards you if things go south and she hates you. Some of the sweetest, nicest women will turn into the ones hell bent on vengeance and become near psycho level in terms of trying to do you harm in whatever way they can when things tank.

You also are talking as if you are engaged because you dated for a while and that's what was expected of you by both families, not because you actually want to be.

Do you actually want to marry this woman?

Do you know she loves you or does she love that you can get her away from a place where she is likely treated like a second class citizen?

I think you are making too many assumptions about things that may or may not be true.

In the same way legions of folks fled New York and Los Angeles during the late 70s-80s, and are doing so once again today... A large percentage of these folks remain just as miserable as they were prior, on account of not addressing the internal baggage they're carrying around

It's likely to be the same with today's passport bros

So, you’re essentially in a long-distance relationship. She might have a separate life in her country while you support her financially, and then, once you’re married, she could leave her boyfriend and rely on you for financial support forever.

OP I seem to recall you saying in another thread this chick was Armenian. Have you visited there? It's an insular kinda place from my understanding.

For real though she if she can pull any strings through her Glendale, CA connections lolz

Good, it's important that you're not doing this out of desperation.

Divorce lawyer James Sexton disagrees, and he's an expert. He mentions several things that need to be part of a prenup, including transparency of assets. Both parties need to have a lawyer, or been given enough time they could hire one. A prenup on a napkin that is signed immediately doesn't cut it - ask Steven Spielberg about that.

Yeh I went to Armenia to see another chick. Overall it was a good experience until I did not want to fyck her ( i was engaged with the other non Armenian girl).

I only saw maybe 5 other black guys the whole time I was in Yerevan. I did get a decent amount of stares from older folk. So Armenia is only insular for the older people. The young people are not zenophobic at all. They love Americans.

The GenZ and Millenials would stop me in the elevator and we would talk about American pop culture. It was surreal.

Yerevan is absolutely gorgeous and it made me sad. I was sad that the USA did not have cities this nice and safe.

Yeh she does not lol. Im not that much of an idiot. Muslims dont play that shyt.

Also as a man you know when a chick genuinely loves you. She actually wants me to live there with her.

Again you never know with any woman. You can never be 100% sure that she is not cheating. That applies to chicks in the USA too.

So most guys with game that go overseas dont regret it. I have a few friends that did this and not one regretted it.

Most people who leave the US ( provided they have a decent income) are happier abroad. No place is perfect though.

Once you date foreign women you just cant do American anymore.

I dont know what baggage they are carrying around. Can you elaborate on the baggage part please? This is a genuine question.

Even if things dont work out with this girl the memories formed with over seas girls was worth it.

Alot of my closest friends in the US are getting married to foriegn born women living in the USA.

American chicks will be obsolete in the next 10 yrs. They will be trying to make laws like the Norweigian women ( blocking Thai women).

Bro this applies to any woman. Especially American women. Does an American bride love the groom or does she see him as a paycheck?

In my case its a pretty good sign when the girl is begging me to move to her country.

Btw every woman is using the man on some level. They can love you and love what you do for them. No woman loves unconditionally.

So even if the pre nup holds water she can still waste your money fighting it in court.

You also still have to pay alimony if you are married for more than a decade or so.

You also have to worry about exorbitant child support payments. You WILL have to pay child support. She can do anything with that money.

Also she can say you abused her and get a fast track to a Greencard doing that mess.

The USA govt can also sue you if she ever gets on govt assistance.

Domestic vs foriegn marriage is a pick your poison scenerio.
