In order to be a beta who is a good cuffing season person, I would think the beta would need to be at least average looking as part of being Mr. Good Enough. Not overweight is a start. Women might loosen their looks standards a little bit from Chad Thundercocck (6'0"+ and fit/muscular) but they aren't going to settle for some overweight guy with subpar facial aesthetics. It's going to be a middle of the bell curve guy who won't stand out too much. On money/status, having a decent provider type job is ok for cuffing season but not much more. It's a respectable job guy to take home to the family. The social circle stuff is part of personality. Not being a overconsumer of porn is part of looks and personality too.

I agree, they do seem to lower their standards a bit on looks for cuffing season. Personally I think it is. Like I said, I work a series of seasonal jobs throughout the year and I also live at home with my parents and have no social circle. I’ve also never been out there in the first place, I have never dated. And inexperience is a very big turn off to women. Most of them find a man in his 30’s with no dating or relationship experience to be very off putting and unappealing. So its a really frustrating catch-22 where nobody will date you because you don’t have experience and the only way to get that experience is by dating, which you can’t do because you don’t have experience in the first place.

I used to have a 24 hour fitness membership but I never went. The gym just takes too much time and is a hassle, so I prefer working out at home, but I haven’t been doing that because I’m juggling work and school.

I can tell you that Cuffin season has always been good for me whether I was broke or not

I guess that only those who specifically go out to chase skirts notice more or less attention, but I never noticed getting less attention in certain months beyond the ordinary (you get more attention in late Spring, Summer, and early Autumn, because you can show more of your body than in the bundled-up winter months). And I don't need to rely on my body to attract women, so I do pretty well in the winter. Conversations flow like usual and being a happy person during the grey winter months can definitely make you stand out from the crowd and elevate your attractiveness.

I think these 'cuffing seasons' are just anecdotal incidents blown-up to theoretical proportions. No 'season' has that much influence on making connections with attractive women.

My personal experience is that November 15-January 1 is a dead zone for meeting new women.

The worst time of the year to be trying to find new dates from either cold approach or swipe apps is from November 15-January 1. Women are busy with holiday obligations and family stuff. Getting on someone's new calendar for a date is a low priority. The only looking for new dates that's doing in this time is through social circle

My personal experience did not match that. There were two years since 2011 where I tried it and didn't get laid. I found things to be especially dead in the years I tried it.

Totally agree it's very anecdotal and you have guys trying to pass it of as fact or theory which is annoying. I do think it's easier in the summer if your choices are limited than winter. However to a real seducer the season doesn't really matter it's all about access to said attractive women

When it comes to this particular compulsion, there really isn’t because it is sexual in nature and real sex isn’t even an option. If we were talking about a different compulsion like drug or alcohol use and a girl said she’ll only get with you if you’ll quit, then there’s more rationale to quit those things beyond just getting laid.

Yeah that’s exactly why it isn’t currently an option and also why I don’t even bother with trying to quit porn right now. Why bother when the lack of those other aspects you named will result in women writing me off?

I’m not currently working out at all, but like I said before I have lost nearly 40 lbs of body fat. I need to work out to build muscle at this point. Its just been hard to find the time between juggling work and school. I’m on a 6 day work week right now in addition to having to attend class and complete all of the homework assignments. I would be working out if I had more free time, but I don’t have much of that these days. Considering that, I definitely wouldn’t be able to manage making a trip to the gym every day and a monthly membership isn’t in the budget for me either. The machines being taken really annoyed me too.

I'm not a 'seducer', but there's always a way to strike up a conversation and turn it flirty/sexual. Especially during thunderstorms and sweeping rain coating the window. Makes women want to snuggle under the warm covers. The holidays are not a challenge if women see you as the right company to take to the family dinner party (boy, do I have stories...) or if they hate the holidays just as much as you do and rather fvck Boxing Day away.
