So therefore, most young women, are taken by older guys??
So lets break this down. 60% of all young guys are single while only 30% of young women are. Lets assume there's a population of 10 guys and 10 girls . 6 out of 10 guys will be single (conversely 4 will have a gf). 3 out of 10 girls will be single (conversely 7 will have a bf).
So to summarize, 4 out of 10 young guys will have a girlfriend; while 7 out of 10 young girls will have a boyfriend. Lets assume basically all 4 of these young guys are dating young girls (this makes logical sense anecdotally and I haven't found evidence to suggest this wouldn't generally happen otherwise).
So out of 7 young girls, 4 of them are dating within their age group. That leaves 3 girls. Who are these three girls dating? I don't have any hard evident, I feel like perhaps 1 out of 3 girls maybe dating a high value chad their own age and unknowingly sharing a guy. Perhaps there might even be 2 of the 3 girls dating the high value chad. However, I think at least 1 out of the 3 girls will be dating a much older guy.
So I feel like 1 out of every 7 girls in their twenties is dating something who is 15 years older than they are. The closer to 30 the girls are, the high the odds. This is all anecdotal but I know too many older men / younger women combination. At least, maybe it's just my bias. I'm not sure. If not 1 out of every 7, it's at least 1 out of every 14.
Obviously, most of these older men are "exceptional men". No beer gut. Decent amount of money. etc.. etc.. However, with divorces, and men not marrying. There are more older "exceptional men" out there. Remember, the age bracket with the most millionaires are IIRC 50 years old.
Yeah, it would have been nice if the survey broke down who the young women and young men were dating. I think they might have found some "inconvenient truths"
Usually, when things are left out of a study, they are left out to promote an agenda... if you get my drift
