So I thought I'd update a lot of you on my experiences with Seeking Arrangements so far and what has gone on. I took the advice of my friend and explicitly put on my profile no PPMs and what I am specifically looking for, practically implying that I want a traditional date to get to know them better. I made the extra effort to ask any girl that messaged me if she had read my profile and quite a few did, some said they even respected me for having standards. This is all because when I first started, I was getting a lot of girls telling me they charge per meet or that they charge per month.
I do say that I can pay for their ride over as a courtesy.
Here is what ensued.
1. Number closed a girl off of the site. We had a date arranged the next day and she said she respected my take. We also have a phone call and it all goes well. Then, right after the call, she texts me and says if I can pay for her visit to the nail salon. I jump around it a bit and say "yeah your nails ain't that bad". She then gets pushy and tells me if I am going to be on the app, it isn't traditional dating so I should pay up. I tell her we should move on. She then texts me and says if I can financially help her out. WTF.
2. Number closed another girl off of the app and this one is going really good. She is in her thirties but really hot, originally from Colombia but has model-tier looks. It is going well but then the day before we decide to meet up, she say she has a son. I know where this is likely going and I cancel.
3. Number closed this French chick off of the site. She called me babe often and it seemed to go well. We had a date arranged for today and I got dressed up and all. My standard is that I will pay for the Uber and the meal but then this girl texts me. We are set to met and she asks if I am paying for the Uber. I have to keep repeating everything to this girl for days such as when we are meeting and where at. Then she says "alright cool so paypal me a hundred bucks". I am lost but she gives me her paypal which is a very pornographic name.....I tell her "an Uber does not cost a hundred bucks, you are right next door". Then she goes "alright fine paypal me 75". I cancel the date, get an angry text and then blocked.
I have a few more dates in the pipe but man oh man.
I have filtered out a lot of escorts but these women will try to grab any dollar they can. It could be more Miami culture than it is Seeking Arrangements culture though, I have to be mindful of that.
In the meanwhile, I am having some chats with women in other Florida cities who seem way more chill, down to earth, and down to meet. We will see where this goes.
I just wish Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge were what they used to be for me years back. I wouldn't have to resort to this if that was the case.
