9/26/18: Morning Studying Update

I just got done from doing my morning cardio, going to class, and studying a bit too. I just had another revelation about my schoolwork, and how this stuff will apply in the workplace as well.

The only way to succeed and get a 4.0 in this programming stuff is to do the work before I even get there. I simply don’t have the time or patience to be grinding code or math problems all day/night in the library. And then I end up failing.

So I need to do all the work on break, before I get there. Like over Winter/Summer Break. I’m not gonna have any time to relax anymore, unless I’m being social or 30 mins-1 hour before I go to bed or something. This is gonna apply once I’m in the workplace too if I wanna be a genius programmer.

Tiredness means nothing if I’m going to succeed at turning myself into the perfect genius.

Sex Issues

I’ll keep this brief. I just fvcked my Lay Report 3 again and I’m having some major issues with my sex game.

1.) Fumbling around too much getting it in. More practice will solve this.
2.) need to Read Sex God Method and She Comes First, so I actually have some Earthly idea of what I’m doing. Watching porn for technique will help with this as well. Studying Female Anatomy will help too. I’m ***ming too quickly as well, so maybe reading some books will help with that.
3.) Lowkey still have erectile dysfunction. I can get it up now, but as soon as I *** once I’m out. And on top of that, when I do have an erection, it’s kind of weak. I’ve still been doing NoFap. The only other cause is that I’m out of shape. Nutrition, boatloads of cardio, and weights. Once I get my six pack and I can run a half marathon(I wanna be somewhat of a runner) this should make this issue a moot point. I believe Corey Wayne had a video on this as well, I’ll be sure to watch that.
4.) Still need to use a condom even if the girl is on birth control.

The “rambling” thing that Roosh talks about is really working. I see that this is what Chads actually do as well. So now whenever I’m on a date, I will be very comfortable. Still internalizing all this stuff and working on making it natural.

This dude took a girl who I never thought he could get on a movie date. That’s just proof that with game, I can ask out literally whoever I want.

This issue is extremely annoying. I’m glad that I’m getting practice in, but honestly until I resolve these issues, I’m not even interested in having sex. I’m just interested in Self Improving.

Random Thoughts:
Also how would one catch a twerk? I seriously need to look into that.
All my crushes listen to mumble rap... I’ve really got to get on that.
I’ve got to learn the lyrics to ALL these hip hop songs and learn to dance to them
Tbh if I can just get my Lay Report up to 5 before I reach the one year anniversary of this journal, I’d be happy with that!
I’ve got to not only get in shape, but learn to use my body correctly so I don’t look so dang stiff. Agility drills?
Go watch the video series "Two Women Teach Sex". You can thank me later.

Let me tell you that getting a 4.0 in programming doesnt mean you will be a good programmer. As someone who has been doing it 12 years and is self taught working in the industry now, that is meaningless. I know people who graduatewith whatever GPA out of school that cant code their way out of a paper bag.

Programming is about knowing and understanding concepts and how and when to use them and more importantly when not to use them. Its about recognizing patterns in code that is unrelated to previous code you worked on but being able to see how the same patterns are there without anyone telling you about.

Programming more than anything is instinctual and by feel many times. No matter how many algorithms you memorize, that wont make you a good programmer. Understand concepts. Concepts travel between languages so if you understand concepts, you can pick up new languages relatively easily. I have programmed in 11 of them as of now. Not great in all 11 but I am very good in 5, and can get by in another 3. And its because I undestand concepts so its mostly just learning a few nuances and syntax.

But more than anything write code. I dont care how much you study if you aren't writing code regularly you cannot be a good programmer. Period.

It's more than just doing the work before you go to class. Programming is an applied skill that comes from practice and working on real problems. More importantly, the theory that you are learning in class is going to take on a different context when applied to a real-world project.

For instances, having a lecture on linked lists or a binary tree is probably going to come out as something that is dogmatic and unimportant. However, when you encounter a problem where a normal array or list is simply not going to do because the issues you're encountering, suddenly linked lists makes a lot more sense.

Hence the key verb word, encountering, and the key noun a problem

This is why when we last spoke, anything you learn from class, you need to fiddle around with it. Then, look at some old projects of yours and try to figure out how a concept will make it better.

Also, @marmel75 makes an excellent point:

"Programming is about knowing and understanding concepts and how and when to use them and more importantly when not to use them. Unless you're building meaningfully projects that people are willing to hand over money to fix their problems, then you really aren't learning anything.

And let's not forget it isn't what you know, but who you know which gets you the job. So if there is anything I sugget doing on your break (or right now) which is going to meetups related to the types of technology you want to work in and networking with seasoned developers. As in pair programming with them, helping them on non-project projects, doing talks at meetups, etc...

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Yes that is an excellent idea. I am part of 2 or 3 of these groups that meet up regularly. Talking to others and seeing their code helps you learn to think differently. There have been a lot of times I have looked at other people's code where they did something I never thought of doing and I put that away in my toolbox and used it later on.

Could not agree more. How something theoretically works in class and how something works in practice to solve a real problem at usually two different things. You dont get real world problems where you are told to build a binary tree and do x,y and z. You get real world problems where a binary tree would be useful when used as PART of the overall solution but not the end solution.

Thats where most newcomers struggle...they dont recognize how to use and stack concepts to build workable solutions. Very rarely in the real world will simply using a binary tree or linked list by itself be useful. It can be useful when used in conjunction with other things but their os no guide for these types of things, its more of a trial and error and figure it out for yourself thing. Knowing how to think outside the box in these situations is KEY to coming up with creative solutions to problems.

I’ll check out the series for sure, thanks!

And I had no idea you were self taught
Go watch the video series "Two Women Teach Sex". You can thank me later.
Actually some of my friends did recommend that I watch that haha. I’ll be sure to check that out.

Sorry man, I had typed more of a response but idk why it didn’t go through. I’ll just re-type it.

That’s really impressive being self taught. How did you go from that to getting a job in the industry? And what exactly is your day to day job?

In a class, we’ll usually do about 12 labs and 5 programs a semester. But I have a couple projects that I’m working on myself as well to get in extra code practice. Working on open source code at the time, and one of my dreams has been to program a soft synth.

Right! It’s really interesting, because I have been looking at a lot of open source code, specifically with LMMS. And I can see how the different data structures are implemented. I’d like to get deeper into writing my own code though. And this should help me a bit on my own project too

I’ve considered joining a cyber security club. Time permitting, maybe I’ll even change my concentration to it. And whenever I go back home, I could always do some programming boot camps/meet ups!

I would try to fit in as many meetups as you can possibly fit into your current schedule. The value behind networking is going to serve you much more than what you could learn from three years of computer science. In fact, with you having university experience with computer science, you have more doors of opportunity available to you.

You just have put yourself out there

Honestly I did it for about 7 years before I actually started applying for jobs. I just got the point where I was doing relatively hard coding challenges on sites and scoring very well on them compared to other people so I knew I was good enough to do it.

It took a while to get someone to give me a chance as a junior developer but once they did i kind of blew them away at what I was able to do.

I have steadily moved up the ranks and currently act as a software engineer building projects from scratch from a Business Requirements Document(BRD).

That's kind of a whole different thing from programming...you have to understand scope of the project, hardware scope, limiting factors and potential future expansion of the project to determine the architecture of the software, what tupe of servers you are going to need, and what to build it with and then actually build it from scratch. Its a unique opportunity because most developers work on other peoples code either adding to it or doing bug fixes, and rarely do they get to develop things from scratch. Its kind of sink or swim at that point and you just jump in the deep end and figure it out or drown.

Honestly, that sounds like a lot of fun even though it seems mentally taxing. I know that this is what I want to do, along with my music. It's just that I have to keep my grades up so that I can actually graduate, and I need to get in as much practice as I can on my own as well as hopefully getting an internship.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Small Updates that I Meant to Do
I forgot to mention 3 small, but still very important things in today's journal entry, so I'll just knock that out now.

1.) I'm volunteering a very small job at a booth. This way, I can get in lots of practice talking to people.
2.) I'm still not truly a "normie" yet. I'm simply not going to see the results that I want in Don Juan or in life until I fix this. I'm gonna start by doing the things listed in this journal and see how much that helps. Then if that doesn't work, I'll look up even more things that I can do. Once again, raising my value/SMV is going to be very critical here. Just gonna keep modifying myself until I'm the person that could get all of my old crushes without batting an eye.
3.) Apparently sober dates in college can work just fine. You can go out with them drunk too. Anything works as long as you can put together the logistics to escalate at some point.

I got unmatched by an 8/10 on Tinder and ignored by another. So out of the 3 hot girls that I matched, I only have one that is consistently responding to my messages(over Snapchat.) But that's okay. I guess the 8/10 wasn't really interested. It's a numbers game, if I keep on trying and improving then I will definitely get there. I'm gonna continue this Don Juan journey and I'll do whatever it takes to get my whole life right. I know outcome independence is most definitely a thing.

9/27/18: Post All Nighter Study Update

I tried to study all night in the Computer Lab. I actually ended up falling asleep in there by mistake. I thought staying up all night would help, but that was literally one of the most unproductive study sessions that I’ve had in my life. I attribute this to several reasons.

1.) I need more willpower when I’m actually doing my work. Actually taking advantage of my rocking soundtrack will help, something which I didn’t do.
2.) If possible, I will try to avoid all nighters together. It’s better to do my work more slowly over time. But I do need to know how to do them just in case I have to get something done and I’m against a deadline. Energy drinks could help here as well.
3.) Sometimes it’s better to go to bed and get up really early. I’ve gotten more done this way sometimes.

GAME SIDENOTES:
I talked to some friends and I think I understand a bit more why I got unmatched. Really irritating stuff, honestly.

I was talking to some Elite Wavers on Facebook again. The only way to raise my SMV properly is gonna be to have deeper 360 waves, crown and all since I can’t grow a beard yet. Which means a 2.5 will be my cut Length for sure. That’ll give me a YoFonzz/Thomas Pabon look. I just wanted to make sure that I stated my cut length explicitly in this journal.

I for sure need to get my own place next semester. Having a roommate is such a downgrade. I will 100% ensure that I’m in an off campus apartment next semester.

More Fuel To The Fire
I know that I’ve been making a lot of back to back posts lately. This will be the last one before I go back to my weekly/bi-weekly updates.

I just found out two of my best friends effortlessly fvcked a pair of 9/10s. While here I am struggling and getting unmatched on Tinder. Unacceptable tbh. Looks like meeting these women at parties is the only real effective way to do it.

I don’t mean this as a sob story. Like AMS said, this is motivation to do something about it. I just wanted to write this down cause it made me really mad and it’ll be good motivation.

One of my goals is to increase the number of Lay Reports on this journal to 5 before its one year anniversary. Is that anything particularly amazing? Not really. But when you consider that I came from ****ing zero bytches before I started this journal, that’s a big improvement.

On the second year of this journal, I’m not even going to worry about hoes as much as I did in the first year. I have to eliminate these issues that are holding me back from being the person that I want to be.

How long should I continue the journal? Until I graduate? Let me know how long you all would want it to go on. On the other hand, I feel like it’d be interesting to document my life out of college too.

ALSO: I’m fully embracing a beard. I’m gonna grow a full beard. I’m so tired of getting mogged by dudes who grow beards as effortlessly as breathing. It’ll up my SMV by like 2 points when I manage to pull it off. I’ll do whatever it takes to get one, starting with Minoxidil Foam Spray. Even if I have to look ugly for 2 years during the growing process.

Post Clubbing
Ended up going to the Hookah Bar, but I messed it up. I will keep this extremely brief.
I feel like I’m surrounded by all of these beautiful white women with amazing bodies and fat asses, but I can’t actually do anything about it. My Club Night Game is horrible, and I need much more practice.

Problems:
All confidence issues that are mentioned in here
Horrible, horrible breath. There’s no excuse for this. Just being irresponsible and not bringing mints. I need mints at absolutely all times.
Not knowing dances like the Electric Slide or Wobble
Rhythm in general... just like basic headbobbing in the club
My conversation still needs a lot of work. This will go up when my sense of self worth goes up too, honestly.

I see what the PUAs are saying when they say that it’s better to have sex that night with the girl if you can. I ran into a new girl that I’ve been trying to fvck. I didn’t do anything with it. My friend was like, “why didn’t you invite her to hang out?” But it’s ok. I’ll ask her to hang out later. That most definitely could have been a Lay Report. At least I fvcked my Lay Report 3 after the Club.

My work is really cut out for me. I have so much that I need to fix in my life. But hey, documenting this journey and working really hard is gonna be lots of fun.

SIDENOTE: My eventual vocal track that I’m gonna do doesn’t count if it is drenched in auto tune.

Post Sex Report
Well I just got back from fvcking my Lay Report 3, and damn. The sex was great, she was extremely wet. That part was freaking amazing. I can tell that I’m getting better at the sex thing, I just need more practice overall.

Although until I fix this issue, I’m not even gonna worry too much about fvcking new bytches. The problem is, I cvm once and then I’m gone. I can’t get it up again for Round 2/3. This is gonna be a problem because once I get to those really really hot girls, I want to tear their shyt up. I can’t do that if I tap out after one round. Thanks to using a condom, I was able to keep it going for much longer this time and I’m actually pleased with how long I lasted. I need to do some more research on this, but once again, I suspect it’s because I’m in bad shape and my testosterone levels are set to “sissy.” Muscles get all of the girls, right? Well I need to build up my heart muscle very high so that I can get all the girls.

Side Notes:
Gonna watch the Two Girls Teach Sex series
Gotta clean my room
Still gotta do better with responsibility and school
I need to make sure that I’m actually logging my study hours
Need to keep becoming familiar with mumble rap and just rap in general
As much as I love this community, it can’t replace people in my life. I have to learn from people and keep them in my life to push myself to be the greatest.
I’ll probably learn this from the series, but I could stand to practice eating pvssy and learning some new sex positions
I need a refresher on the process of fvcking college girls in general. Sometimes I feel like I’m doing it all wrong
One day, I need to start fvcking some of these sorority girls
