your sensuality.

almost everyone has a "type", both guys and girls. you know what i am talking about.

my type used to be dark, between 5'10 and 6'2, football player shoulders, handsome (not necessarily in a pretty boy way).

but i am specifically going to focus on body type. i loved that football player buff body that all of you think that women want. it was true for me! atleast when i was younger. a short guy? no it just wouldn't happen. a skinny guy? yeah. right.

well luckily i am openminded and this past year i have really fallen for a short guy, and then a really skinny guy! haha on me. and now i would like to share with all of you something i realized.

these guys obviously hooked me despite the superficial "requirements" that they lacked. and not only that, but these two guys were the best i ever had. hee hee.

their secret ingredient? sensuality. they oozed it. at times i worried that i was going to suffocate on it (but i didn't care). for the short guy, it was the way he talked, sort of lazy, slow, but intelligent. and his eye contact, woohoo. i wanted to let him do whatever he wanted when he looked at me, it was like i was a snake, and he was a snake charmer.
the skinny guy, it was the way he moved. it was like he was one with everything, his movements were always so fluid and loose, it was like he was savoring a feeling unknown to anyone else, all the time. (and he made me feel it too, when we...hee hee...)

so i hope that this little tidbit is insightful to some of you who think that you got shortchanged. ;)

This is insightfull. you are just writing this message to help yourself justify your actions. I feel sorry for this "short guy" as you call him. he may of been one of the best guys you ever had but the truth is you would never take him seriously. I'll bet he is an AFC over you too. If these guys are so great and what you say is true why are you not still with them?

If I was a short guy I would never give consideration to a girl that had to compromise her standards for me. I would just move on and next her. Any girl that has to compromise her standards to be with you isn't worth your time. You can use her for sex but that is about it. It's important to find a woman that has always wanted your type becase when you get into a fight with her she can't play the 'oh he isn't even my type' card on you.

hehe I'm 6'2 myself, broad shoulders (muscular arms etc) and dark hair with highlights (Always ask your hairdresser to give you a good stylish look =) )

If anyone tries to tell you that looking good doesn't give you an edge they are either bull****ting or podpeople :p

So what you are telling us is that body type matters until women turn 30? Well, back to the basics... I actually don't care too much, I'm 6'2, 190, broad-shouldered, muscular... still don't have the full 6paq but slowly working my way there (if only someone could outlaw TacoBell burritoes).

One thing I do know, in High School my Middle-Easternish looks turned women off big time, they wanted Mr. Blond Hair and Blue Eyes. But in college women have moved off the James Dean / Matt Damon / Brad Pitt standard and stopped rejecting me for my race and I like it. I've actually heard HB's say they thought I was hot, a few said it to me but they had boyfriends...

I don't think her point was compromising her standards--more that she was a "girl" who had a basic type---probably the same as all her girlfriends had---and now she's more of a woman and finding that what she responds to is something much different and deeper (and mysterious) than before.

Guys go through the same thing. I've seen guys encounter it in college, and I've seen guys in their mid-30s (usually after a divorce) clue into it, too. And--sadly--I've seen guys with their heads up the @sses at 45 who still didn't get it.

For myself--I remember certain women getting me rock-hard who--surprised the fvck outta me!--were exactly what I didn't go for--or so I thought.

Sure--I still have my types that I will always check out walking down the street. But now "my type" means little--I have to get physically close to them, talk to them and engage with them for awhile in order to know if I find them exciting. Direct contact is the only test that works--it's phermones, it's personality, it's who-knows-what?

I've met women who were the walking embodiments of my type and found that there was absolutely no spark, and I've met women who were certainly not my type but had something indefinable that got to me.

Get the preconceptions out of the way and pay attention to the direct experience--that's what I think Iqqi means.

EDIT: But I agree that if you discover that a woman has compromised her standards---get as far away from her as you can! I think a lot of AFCs get married under those conditions--and in the back of their minds, they KNOW it! I've seen some of those couples around me---ugghh! I thought the woman was nasty for submitting herself to such an arrangement just because she needed a guy, but I think the guy was a worse case for knowing what he knew and staying around and allowing it to happen. <shudder!>

this is very rational, but women don't think that way.

Winning unfairly...

I can tell you've never done professional debate. If you ever go to a debate tournament... you always take what the other side says and stretch it to extremes... If you watch "Policy Debate" any plan your competition brings up will
1... lead to greater instability between nations
then... 2... lead to increased military hostility due to a shift in the balance of power
...then... 3.... lead to Nuclear Warfare
Therefore, you should not support this Plan for the United States to increase tariffs against Kenya by 2%

We all have preconcieved notions to some extent...but...

Generally speaking we grow most when we just set a few boundaries.

A example. I have boundaries for the woemn i will be with...

Ht is not a issue.
Wt.. well keep it ht and wt proportionate. No big cows.

Personality...yes thats a HUGE plus etc.

Hair color? Redheads are my fav, but if its blonde or brunette, I can work with that!

Kids. Hopefully less than 3.

Money? I could care less.

Sex appeal? the more the better to a point...if they are ooozeing sex, makes me a bit suspicious to be honest. Afterall, if they want to fvck me before they even know me, than hello! How hard would it be for ANY guy to fvck them? I don't share damnit!!!

Location: Yes they have to be close by. No 4 hour drives for this dude.

Friends? I expect them to have some. Leary of "very close male friends tho". duh!

As I said, we all have boundaries.I think it is best to think of terms of what you can live with, and what you absolutely cannot tolerate, and go from ther. So if a skinny guy turned out to be her best lover...than she has learned, that works. I have dated HB 5's that blow the socks off a HB 9 just in personality, worthiness etc. Its all relevant isn't it?

Do you do "Parliamentary Debate"?

I did Congress and International Extemporaneous in High School, I was top 5 in Cali in the former and top 5 in the Bay in the latter. In college I do Parli, me and my partner kick some ass... do you do Parli? If so, will I see you at the National Championships this year at Cal-State Northridge (NPDA's) on May 10, 04?
