The BCAAs in the whey trigger an insulin response which I guess then leads to you going hypoglycaemic for a while ---> headache.

Probably. But I've tried plenty of flax meal in my shake. Seems to prevent tihs. Slower absorbtion since flax is full of fiber.

Yeah that's one way you can prevent it. I just have a shake with a meal instead of on its own. Making a switch to egg white powder now though.

Yeah, I'm thinking of switching to egg white powder now as well. Iron Addict recommends it over whey now (tho maybe not PWO). The only problem I can imagine is that I'd need to find something to mix up with it, so the shakes have a flavour. Or is there some egg white protein powders that come with flavourings in mate?

Yeah some other guys from IA's boards have moved or are moving over to egg protein too. Another problem with egg protein is the higher price. I'll be sticking to whey PWO.

The stuff I'm getting is from myprotein.co.uk and is unflavoured, though they can flavour + sweeten it for you at extra cost. You could always just throw in a spoonful of cocoa powder. It always masks the taste of whey nicely. Alternatively you could just man up and down the ***** :whistle: It'll put hairs on your chest.

uh..dood..not to be mean or anything but stop what you are doing ASAP because it's obviously NOT working.Trust me, I been there.You are lucky you have zero stretch marks because I have many and it's from bulking up in a desperate attempt to make weight no matter what the cost when I was younger.I have bulked up,stripped down and bulked up,been really yolked been super strong,now I am doing it the right way.I can honestly say that you would do alot better on the push ups program I have been prescribing here on the forums.If you have been doing all that for 4 months and have seen no visible results..theres is something seriously wrong going on.
Think about it..you have been doing everything right..then why has the right results have not come about??? ANYONE thats busting their azz working out and eating right,giving that they have low bodyfat levels deserves to be able to take their shirt off and be completly proud of their body and level of development..if you're not making gains or have an appretiatable ammount of mass..you're wasting time.Period.

Compare the first picture (Jan) to the April 10th picture. Seems to me that your waist is much smaller


However, your routine leaves much to be desired.

Squat oriented (legs)
Bench oriented (chest, shoulders, tris)
Deadlift oriented (back/bis)

Dude lift however you want,as long as you like it that's all that matters. Looks like there is some progress from the first to latest pics,keep it up.

I see improvement. You appear broader in the shoulders and you appear to have loss a bit around your waist.

You do lack in your pec's this just might be your weak part and good to find it out early so you can do some extra sets or reps or go heavy to build them up.

If I were you I'd scrap that ENTIRE ROUTINE..It's worthless, you lost weight but you gained no muscles..not even tone. Do what you want though, you read enough you seem to know what you are doing so go for it.
Personaly you are working out too much and too many excersizes just for chest,your split is too long and the rest periods are out of whack,you are training like a veteren when you should be training like a begginner.
You're doing something seriously wrong ,either it's diet or your workout.
