haha. Good find Warboss. I see you also subscribe to the nation.

You forget to put one more in there: Ronnie Coleman. He started out as a powerlifter back in the day. And he was the reigning bodybuilding champ up until last year. He's had more wins than anyone.

bastard.
I take it anyone who has some sort of visible fat deposits must be fat.

If you're over 10% bodyfat and we can't see your abs... you are automatically put in the 'lardass' category.

It takes alot of discipline to lose enough wait for your abs to show through. Last December I weighed almost 175lbs and I'm only 5'11". I was wondering why I never really looked very cut. Finally I started eating a healthy diet and cut out ALL the junk. Not some, ALL of the junk.

I now weigh 153lbs, and got the look I wanted. My bench never decreased at 250lbs, and I never decreased in any strengh. So I am happy to say that although I did alot of cardio, I never lost much muscle or strength. It's all about the diet.

By who?Call_Me_Daddy hasn't proven anything to anyone, there is no proof that anything that comes out of his mouth is credible. Warboss Alex is in the same category as Call_Me_Daddy and he is offering to train people for money?!

I'm just getting fed up with people on this board preach 'this and that' and claiming to be in decent shape when only 1 person, one, uno, the # before 2 has shown proof of it. I'm bumping my old thread, too many people preach and have nothing to back it up with.

blinkwatt - this is an internet forum. nobody on here has proven they can do anything, including you and I. WBA, Effort and throttle could be the larry, curly and moe for all we know.

to use that against WBA or anybody is lame.

if you wanna learn a thing or two about imposters, go to BB.com and read up on 'bigkev' or 'shot'. its a riot.

I have no clue why people put emphasis on how much they weight, look at Frank Zane. Frank Zane only weighed 190lbs. and he won Mr.O .

Warboss Alex has repeated tried and true things over and over again for a few years now.

You and Call Me Daddy act like internet tough guys trying to prove how cool you are in a cold world that's been mean to you.

For all I know Alex is 16 years old and makes up sh1t about himself but he speaks like an adult and says things about lifting I can actually go look up and verify. Neither of you two talk like adults so I just assume you're 16 and thus anything you say is invalid.

to my knowledge, i have never posted a message that says "i do X, so you should, too" EXCEPT in a narrow category: guys attempting to lose bodyfat by methods that my own experience & research suggests will not work. In that case, I relate those things from my experience that do work. Therefore, adding my physical stats to an internet forum pissing contest would be not only silly but counterproductive.

I do not measure my weight, bodyfat or protein intake (the stats blink demanded in another thread), though I can roughly estimate each, and I know that I am stronger and leaner than I was 6 months ago, and 6 months before that, and so on for several years now. I also know that my countless years of lifting experience are mostly irrelevant because I spent many of those years lifting idiotically & ill-informed. I got very good advice from these forums over a year and a half ago, and my goal now is to add to the signal and help filter out the noise.

I mostly stick to relaying well-tested advice, for example from reliable resources like the IA forums, where most of the newbs who post here would be ignored, laughed at, banned, or otherwise too embarrased to ask (admittedly fairly stupid) questions. I also take the opportunity to ridicule advice that I believe is very misguided or lacking significant evidence. End of story, so far as I'm concerned.

throttle - i did not mean anything personal, i just picked the 3 names of people who i deemed the most credible here. i was not questioning you or anyone else.

even if you guys are fatsoes or runts who've never been in a gym, you give great advice, and help me and others reguarly, so it wouldnt matter. in this atmosphere all that matters is youre commentary not how good your squat is, and there are many posters here who have given more credible input that blinkwatt, so she should not be questioning anyone's physique or weight-lifting abilities.

thanks lewis, i wasn't replying directly to you as much as to blink anyway. i realized afterwards you might interpret me as answering a challenge from you, but i recognize your intent was to call out blink on exactly who he was calling out... er something like that.

UPDATE: I bought whey protein yesterday, I am now taking 2 scoops w/ milk before workouts, or if i'm not hitting the gym that day, 1 scoop before at around 9-9:30PM ish
Good way to start. Just a suggestion,I would recommend mixing one scoop of whey w/ 2 cups of milk 20 minutes before hitting the gym and then repeat the second you step foot in your house after getting home.

Or you could take your post-workout drink down to the gym with you :)

Get some milled/ground flax seeds and put that into your shake. Whey absorbs quickly. For mysolf it messes with the blood suar levels and I get headaches. I try to eat a bit of sugar or mix flax seeds to slow the absorbtion. The **** gives me a lethargy and headaches for a good half hour. If the flaxseeds don't work, use more.

And if you have problems with the whey. Digestive.

Switch to the non-flavoured, colorless stuff. 100% pure whey. Nothing else. Doesn't taste like anything but you can put it in whatever you want.

Hmm,any protein shake I have tried does that to me as well. Do you know why protein would have that effect though?
