A Datejust is an expensive watch but a middle tier Rolex. The Day Dates are more expensive.
Agreed, but not sure what your point is. In the wild a datejust and daydate is indistinguishable unless someone really looks at the dial.

The fully gold look of a Daydate might stand out more and catch a woman's eye more easily.

Ah. Sure, I suppose. Fluted/Jubilee datejusts are pretty flashy as well, but yea full gold would stand out more.

My Explorer arrives early next week. Stoked for this 'grail' piece of mine.

While Rolex is a well-known luxury watch brand, there are several other luxury watch brands that offer watches with high prices. Some of the other most expensive watch brands include Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Breguet, and Vacheron Constantin.

Rolex is the biggest name known to the public.

A lot of the other luxury brands are more well known to watch enthusiasts, who are far more likely to be male.

A gold Day Date can be considered impressive and many men use them to attract women's attention. I think a gold Day Date is more impressive to a woman than a stainless steel Datejust.

True. A Richard Mille may cost half-a-mil, but 99.999% of women will have no idea what it is.

There are a number of other watchmakers that are high quality with less name recognition like Patek Phillippe and Jaeger LeCoultre.

Also Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Sohne, Blancpain, IWC, Zenith, Omega, Breguet, Breitling, Glaschutte Orignal, Ulysse Nardin, Piaget, Chopard, Cartier to name a few off the top of my head.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Yeah, I meant to tell you mine wasn't a Rolex but an Islander. I had some back-and-forth communications with the owner Marc right before the purchase. My Submariner 'Cookie Monster' homage ($70, Amazon) was getting too much attention from gold digger, halfwit, hoebags...so I'm gifting it to my cousin who graduates high school next week. Watches and colognes have NEVER been a part of the equation in all my lays thus far. But maybe later on...

Wynwood is a bit of a trashy neighborhood in Miami. Additionally, that woman looks trashy and The Dirty Rabbit bar looks trashy.

Why would someone with multiple expensive Rolexes hang out at a trashy bar in Wynwood?

Rolex is the most likely brand to get a man laid. Rolex has the brand recognition from women.

Cartier has some brand recognition but Cartier watches are considered more appropriate for women to wear than for men to wear.

I think the biggest part of RolexMaxxing is that it's WristMaxxing, and a Rolex won't help a WristCel.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The last time I "wore" a watch was back before the days of WIFI or even (small, cheap) mobile phones. I had an old fashioned pocket watch - a Swatch, that looked like an Euro train station clock - I had gotten the idea for getting a pocket watch by looking at a Euro train conductor use one :) - and I used that a lot - and even some chicks thought it was interesting. It broke and I got it fixed by some idiot American, and he put in a non-stock adjustment knob, and it pi33ed me off. Maybe when I return to Switzerland, I'll get it properly fixed.

So it's OVER for SwatchCels?

What the hell is WristCel? It's a made up term. Few watch brands are meaningful for women. Swatch isn't one of them. There are even some nice, entry-level luxury brand watches that won't help much with getting laid. These are good watches in general, but bad watches for attracting women. Rolex is the brand that has the most awareness with women. There are a number of other watchmakers that are high quality with less name recognition like Patek Phillippe and Jaeger LeCoultre.

I don't like the Rolex Submariner but others do. I tend to like Datejusts and the Day Date more.

You said it yourself. Rolex is a status symbol.

I think in order for a Rolex to be effective in seduction and in retaining a woman (if that's a goal), it has to be combined with other status symbols.
