imagine the image you give out going to Walmart wearing a 30,000$ watch, try hard.
I don't think a guy would daygame at Walmart while wearing a Rolex. I've never done an approach at Walmart. I've done day approaches at traditional supermarket chain locations. Walmart is not my key demo.

if you required to wear a suite for work then go for it but its just not where society is at anymore.
Few jobs require suits anymore.

maybe 20 years ago, before everyone had a phone in their pocket that can tell time.

the only people I actually see in real life wearing expensive watches other then some 100$ department store watch or apple watch are obvious foreigners.

I think expensive cars will be the new try hard this decade.

You want to impress a woman with objects? have you own house and a working clean car with no debt. And if you really want to flex owning property will get her before a Rolex watch (gosh what is this 1995).
You can get superb Chinese fake Rolex for about £600. Only a watch specialist would know the difference. I approve of this concept.

thankfully my career still requires a suit and it really upsets me the world is moving towards dressing like a college student for work.
Suits rock, basically.

Would a homeless man wearing a Rolex get laid?

A guy with a congruent lifestyle to afford one would in all probability have the social skills to sleep with many women.

No, he would not.

A guy with a congruent lifestyle to afford one would in all probability have the social skills to sleep with many women.
There are two common scenarios I see in congruency....

1. Men with plenty of money to afford nice things, including Rolexes, but subpar social skills.
2. Men who have a Rolex but a rather basic apartment and possibly a basic car too. That could confuse women.

What do you think happens when a man has a Rolex but doesn't have similar level material goods in other areas? Let's say his car isn't a top brand car for instance.

I have an expensive watch, but it’s not a Rolex. I’ve even owned nice ones with diamonds on them in the past. The only people that ever commented on my watches were other men. I honestly don’t think they ever helped me get pVssy

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I don't think there's much difference between a man wearing an $8k Rolex and a woman carrying an $8k Birkin bag. I don't know the first thing about handbags and definitely wouldn't even know the price of it. So why should a woman automatically know it's an $8k watch? Or even a real Rolex for that matter. And honestly, if she did, I'd assume gold digger right off the bat.

My boy wore a Rolex out, he’s always trendy though. He got no looks last weekend with it out. I looked like a frat boy and I pulled down 5 sets. The couple weeks prior to that when he had his RVCA flamingo hat, he stole my 24 year old elementary school teacher on the dance floor the rat bastard. He’s trust fund money though, he can outspent me 10:1 and hypergamy wins. He’s also a fun guy.

Rolex is classic “trying to be rich”

it’s not even a particularly good brand for the money. Much better available for similar cost.

pair the Rolex with a Range Rover bought on credit with a personalised number plate and you can create the “complete egotistical wanker” package set!

edit: I realise some of you have them.

before I get my head smashed in, I’d wear one, if that’s your thing, each to their own.

I am not a fan of flash. Although I do buy flash with suits and dress shoes.

I wear a £150 watch currently and drive a Lexus. I just find German cars and Rolexes a bit lacking in imagination.

I live in U.K. and the Bimmer 3 is the most common car on the road. Perhaps in the states it has rarity value
No sir. Rolex is what serious money wears.

Semi related, maybe….
I rarely wear a watch at all, but I wear my Apple Watch when out. Basically so I can keep my phone put away but not miss any messages.

I currently have the stock black rubber watchband on it, because it’s easy to keep clean when I sweat at the gym. Is there much value in upgrading to a fancier band, or is that a minimal return on investment thing?

I own two Rolex’s but dollar to lay ratio…put the money into a boat or a sport bike or travel. Spend a few hundred bucks and you can get a replica that you would need a jeweler’s eye to distinguish.
Most of my gaming has been of college girls who don’t care that much about money. If you’re somewhere like South Florida you’ll need some bling.

way better choices out there than Rolex.

rolex is the chav option. I think the word chav can be interchange with “jersey” in the US.

no one who is serious about nice watches wears a rolller. It’s what people buy when they want to project wealth. Like a Range Rover.

I’d wear one,you can get a Rolex for £5k, it’s not a big deal, a credit card can get you one. And often; they are purchased on credit

I simply write the word "now" on the top of my wrist. Hasn't failed me yet.

Mode One for the win, baby.

Ok well the dude I know who wears one is 87 years old, one of the most influential men in manhattan’s social circle and his business does about 300 mil annually in sales. But that’s probably a fluke.

I know this dude too. Small world, huh? What you're not mentioning is that he just started up the biz two years ago at 85 and while he does have good drive and ambition for his age, he would be nowhere without the Rolex.

Nowhere, I say.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

As you know, just a little side project… something to keep himself busy.

Watches are obsolete technology (obviously this doesn't apply to smartwatches.) Their only purpose is to advertise wealth. I'd never wear an expensive watch as it increases your odds of being a victim of an armed robbery. There are far more practical methods to peacock.

I think many men think that the primary purpose of a Rolex is to help them get laid.

If you have a Rolex and a good German car brand, is that enough to get you laid? Or do you still need more?
I have them both , And I can not say that I have a better sex life than I used to have before having them
I would think a lot of men would find that a disappointment if they got those two things and it didn't affect their sex lives.

Instead of watches, and shoes, what about jewelry?

Ruby, sapphire, emerald?

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.
