muscle will not solve everything but it can be a huge improvement.

if you make a commitment to yourself to bulk up with muscle make the same commitment to bulk up your social skills.

if you have a small head, too much muscle will make you look retarded.

ask random women if they think you'd look good with added muscle.

i think 10-20lbs of muscle with be great for everyone. 30-50lbs is a different story. for some it can be amazing, for others it can make them look stupid.


too low bodyfat is gross.

you have to carry yourself like your the man if you bulk up or else people will think something's wrong with you! its a must. actually as soon as you start working out you should focus on good posture smooth walk etc. start today

if you communicate a positive alpha male cool guy attitude through your body language people will see your physical attributes in a positive light.

on the other hand if you carry yourself like a loser people will see your bulk as something negative.

focus on legs. you can put a lot of weight on your legs before you start looking silly.

if your 5'8" or 5'9" i wouldn't think of going much over 185

5'10" or 5'11" i'd say stay under 200

6' or 6'2 id say stay under 220

6'4" 230 or 240

6'6 260

bulking is not something you should do for a big part of your life as its pretty unhealthy.

I bulk with clean healthy foods. No problem in that. What is unhealthy is when people go overboard or do it the wrong way.

You have to realize too, that bulking to some may only be 2,500cal which is no biggy. Some it may be 3,000 and that is still fine as long as you eat what you are supposed too, and keep an exercise routine. NOT having the exercise routine and just eating is the wrong way.

There are some who eat calories for maintenance that it takes others to bulk because of activity and calories being burned with metabolism.

Lets say I only need 250cal extra to grow. Though slowly, that is still 250cal beyond what I need, and that adds up to weight gain (the right way) over time. Its not like you double everything or eat 8,000cal per day everyday. I think people misunderstand, and think you have to eat 8k to bulk.

You can eat 2,000cal, and if it consists of 2 big macs, a large soda and fries all the time, that's worse than my 3,000cal with rice, cottage cheese, brown rice, apples, PB, bananas, etc etc.

You don't have to be the next Arnold to be a successful PUA. You don't even need to be muscular. All that is required is that you use your time to create success in life. Not being fat also helps, but is by no means a dealbreaker for a man(look at all those old, fat executives). Dressing well is also very important.

If you have to choose between university and the gym, choose university.

I'd like to reinforce this idea. It's scarily true. I can see a difference and I wouldn't rule out muscle mass has something to do with it.

I'm about 6'1" measured acurately but most girls consider me 6'2" or 6'3" becuase of height exageration on guys behalf nowadays.

I used to weigh 210lbs which, considering a considerably high body fat of around 22% was unhealthy. But it's recently struck me that I used to be able to walk into a bar and the women would just swing around like some type of alpha male entered the room. I thought that losing weight would make me more attractive.

Over the space of a year I lost 49lbs through cardio and had never been able to run for so long in my life. Sadly I think I had lost alot of muscle. So I was at 161lbs about 2 months ago with a 14% body fat, now after drinking alot of beer i'm 170lbs with a body fat percentage of 16%, and although i'm tallish and relatively handsome I rarely get looks, or maybe I don't see them looking.

Either way I've got some 17.5lb dumbells and using them regularly. I plan to use them on the biceps and shoulders as i don't want to bulk up the rest of my body.

damn what a topic i must say

i just got to say something off bat: I got hit on by a fat girl today and it was fun. i actually considered going back and having sex with her. never in my life could i just have try to qualify herself to me so hardcore but it was ok


moments after that i had a perfect body girl just bump in me all hardcore i felt the vivacious curves plunge into my frail sized body and it jerked me backwards, i felt violently violated... damn i'm skinny.

To guys who work out: You say more muscles have increased your life quality. You feel more confident, have increased your sence of well being, better mood and have a better life all in general. And you look damn masculine too. Ofcource, hormonal changes (increased testotserone) have something to do with all this aswell as more musclemass. Ask any guy who works out -- training increases life quality.

To skinnyguys: Are the trained guys lying to you? Do they have a secret plot to drag you down with them? Why do you argue? Why? Why? Why? How the hell would you know whats best? It's like asking a virgin what feels best - condom or no condom? How would you know? Do you think former skinnyguy, pook, wrote this to make fun of you? Or to HELP you? Where is your logic? Even though you don't verbalize it, you KNOW 20 extra pounds of muscle could only help you. If you do seven - max eights now, you'd do nines easy. And dont forget the incredible chemical changes that happen in your brain after working out for a few months. Sense of wellbeing is just incredible. The wellbeing itself will improve your game and wellbeing. Depressed? Feeling down? Working out is the single best medication. Working out -- its a good thing! :) (ps - bodybuilding sucks, powerlifting rules ;P)

I gained 40 lbs, definitely noticed all of the above. Guys and girls ask "if i work out alot". Some guys asked me if I was an ultimate fighter at gnc..lol. I am 5'11 180, pretty good ratio for me. I was too skinny at 140, above 180 I become too clumsy for my own good. As they say it will only get your foot in the door, better have a good game to back it up!

its just like with chicks. if she's got really great perky natural tits, a nice ass and a sexy stomach than thats sexy as hell. she'll stand out.

small tits and small ass and she loses that sexy animal look. you won't notice her as much

big fake tits and a huge ghetto booty. thats like a bodybuilder. its far out of the range of normal. its just plain not classy. its just too much and it doesn't look natural. some girls will go for this but not nearly as many as would go for the naturally big athletic look. just like some guys are ass freaks or love huge tits for some girls you can never be big enough. but those chicks are wierdos and are usually white trash or ghetto or something.

don't spend too much time in the gym. being in shape is great for your lifestyle but it can turn into a self destructive obsession. its just like with anything, there is a law of diminishing returns. if you're already in shape, try to get your social and financial situations on par with your physique. if you're not in shape then get to it because it will seriously improve your life.

I'm skinny but fit at 5-11 150lbs. All that matters is that you don't act afraid of stronger men, and that you're stronger than her. Girls are nowhere near as attracted to looks as we are. If they have to tell their gf's that you're hot, they're only doing it because they can't tell them how fun you are. You do have to be physically attractive but you don't need to work out to do that.

Being buff is useful, I won't deny that, but its definitely not one of the more important things.

lol, I'm 6ft3 195pds and I feel totally skinny. Doesn't harm my confidence though.

I think being really musuclar gets you girls but different types of girls. I have skinny friends who get a lot of hot girls. I also have a lot of bulky friends who get girls and I've noticed something. I think the best is just to be average weight and not over do it. You don't want to be a meathead. Those guys always get the stupid hot chick who likes to party and talk about celebrites and **** like that. While the other guy seems to get the smarter down to earth type of girl.

But if he was gonna reply with all sorts of philosophical ideas then that would be turning him into a KBJ himself, so by refraining he avoids that.

Really there should be no debate about this...physical fitness is a must for any aspiring DJ. If you're average or ugly this can really help bump you up the attractiveness scale a few points.

Low body fat with a moderate amount of muscle mass is ideal for most women.

Get a nice body and it will make your dating life a lot easier.
