What do YOU think is the most attractive thing a girl/woman sees in a guy/man?

personally i think girls, like all people, are just looking for the most bang for the buck.


they all want the highest value guy they can possibly get. what they consider high value though, varies from girl to girl. but the general idea involves physical appearance and financial/social success.

Wealth\social status- Well, there was a new thread yesterday about a rich guy who doesn't get any girls.

Charisma\charm- Very important. To have charisma\charm you must love being yourself.

Personality- same as charisma? beliefs- part of your personality? They seem all so subjective to me. You should have specified these things better.

Game- important, but if you are depressed that will eventually drive girls away.

For things we can't control, I would say height is the most powerful attract tool out there.

For things we can control, I think athletic build and/or muscles is top.

Something I've never seen mentioned on this forum is the fact the in the past 15 years, the media has done a dramatic shift and has conditioned women to value looks MUCH more highly than they naturally would.

That was yesterday, brother, not today. Women today freak out over Justin Beiber types and consider them "Alpha".

I've got tongue-in-cheek just a little. You are correct that at a very base level, women respond to masculinity, but many women are also intimidated by it, hence the Beiber Syndrome.

It's not even as though they demonstrate masculine qualities in their behaviour, as they're pathetic little wimps. And yet they still seem to get the girls?!

Agreed. I think in order it goes:

Status > Wealth > Masculinity > Looks > Game/charisma > Personality

Status is the end all-be-all. This would explain the Justin Beiber phenomenon. When you're on top of the world, everyone wants you. That's why he's such a huge target and has so many haters. In the end, it's pure jealousy.

Wealth. It's why you say ugly CEO's and fat business men with gorgeous looking chicks.

Masculinity I put before looks because I have seen some huge muscle headed dudes with some jacked up looking faces. Acne scars everywhere, crooked noses, big ears, and they seriously look like they've been to hell and back. But for some reason, their massive arms get them attraction from beautiful woman. I think that's why "go to the gym" is such a used response here, because it really is a cheap way out. Your face can be ugly as fvck, but woman will love those big arms and "V" shaped bodies.

Looks. Pretty boys/emos etc.. I think a lot of girls may seek these types out but it is generally the younger woman. Looks is usually also accompanied by another trait (masculinity, status, or wealth) which is probably why you see some hott woman with a "what-the-****-is-she-doing-with-him?" kind of guy. Meaning, a woman will pick a good looking man with status over an average looking man with status. Looks is another variable, but it is also a very important one. Looks is low on my scale because I'm assuming it's all you have to offer and nothing more. But accompany it with any of the earlier traits and you pretty much have it made.

Game/charisma: Is just like looks. Accompany it with another trait and you have a better advantage. I believe game is extremely important and it may be explain why you see a good looking girl with an average looking dude. He's bypassed her logic and got straight into her emotions. Sometimes in a woman's head she can think "Why do I like this guy? He's not even that attractive.." but her emotions wont let her leave. This is straight game right here, and/or psychology. A beautiful woman that was abused may cling towards a man she knows is abusive, regardless of looks or not.

Personality: The betas/AFCs etc... These men usually don't get their turn until the woman is like 40 and has already completed her transformation into complete trash. It's time for her settle down and tie the knot on some man that can give her some security. These types also get lucky occasionally when a woman suffers a damaged ego after a break up. If the AFC can manage to show even a little sexual interest he might get lucky, but generally his "conscience" tells him that he doesn't want to just have sex with her, he wants her to love him. This is the lowest on the scale because truth is, girls don't really give a damn about your personality. That's why they love assh0les and badboys.

What you mentioned in your post is true. Lets only talk about regular ordinary people, lets don't include celebrities and CEO's

This is true especially in the rich and advanced societies where girls can afford to dont worry about protection and shelter.

While reputation works everywhere I would say that in less advanced places or even dangerous ones things as social status and wealth make girls wet.
It's not a conscious choice,it's just that they are programmed to do the best thing in their own interest.

If you live in a nanny state you seek a guy you can brag about with your friends and who share your housework cause you have no other needs, if the crime rate is fkn high you need a strong man that can feed and protect you so in exchange you spread your leg and do the housework.

A factor is also the male to female ratio, if you are surrounded from men you look for the bad boy who give you the thrill cause even if he leave you you can pick an other guy in a day.
While if you are surrounded from other women you go for the serious guys who is less likely to cheat or leave you, women can be as desperate as men given the right circumstances.
