It is very much on the dressy side if you are ok with that.

I wear them for office work and going out because almost any of my button-down shirts will match.

For you, I would save them for going out to nicer places. It’s overkill for just regular bars.

(The nurse I was seeing kept insisting that I “dress down” ie wear jeans and T-shirt or polo shirt lol. I’m just more comfortable dressed up, which is probably not common.)

A watch is a great accessory. I can’t offer any specific recommendations on which types/brands though. I’ll defer to the others on that one.

@RichardTheFrog, check out styleforum.net. They can really help with your wardrobe. I recently re-did mine, so I know what you are thinking. For denim, can't go wrong with 7 For All Mankind, Lucky or a good quality Levis. For shoes, can't go wrong with Cole Haan, Tod's, Allen Edmonds or Johnson and Murphy. You just want to make sure the shoes are made with a Goodyear Welt type of stitch. That ensures that they will keep you feet dry and will not fall apart after a year.

For dress pants, Brooks Brothers are good, no doubt, but I've recently been switching out to Charles Tyrwhitt out of London. They are around the same price as Brooks Brothers, same quality or better, but here's the kicker. Everything you buy from them comes with a six month no questions asked exchange or return policy (worn or unworn) with them paying for shipping. You cannot beat that.

For accessories, can't go wrong with either a two tone or stainless steel Rolex. If you want to get dressier, you can opt for a Patek Phillipe. If you do not want to leave your other arm naked, you can add a stainless steel, silver or gold bracelet as well. Apparently, they are coming back in style for men.

Should work well with the Lambo.

Not really. Everyone needs to dress for certain occassions. This stuff and the brands I mentioned, along with Macklemore's recs are pretty affordable. There are coupons out there to save another 20%+ (cashbackmonitor.com + retailmenot.com). As for the Rolex, check out pawn shops. I purchased a couple from Swiss Watch Expo. Govberg is pretty decent and aggressive as well. Then there is always rolexforums.com. Some are snobs, but you can get geniune Rolex's for a fair price. Always get cert. pre-owned, not new. Start with a date-just, and you can always upgrade from there every year or so. The best thing about Rolex's is that they do not lose money and they hold their value. You'll drop around 1.5k - 2k for a date-just, but when you are ready to upgrade, you'll get that money back.

I'm a jeans and t-shirt guy too. However, if you are going out to a nice place, meeting people, presentation, bank, etc. you need to look good. They did a study once on dressing well and confidence. If you are going for a million dollar mortgage at a bank, you cannot walk in wearing a t-shirt, jeans and flip flops. It just doesn't work that way. You know that.

Apparently, they are both intertwined. You do not have to do any of this. However, if you are driving around in a six figure car, maybe up your style a bit, if you are so inclined. If you do not want to, then that's cool too. I will say, if you get the better shoes, your feet will thank you though. As for the threads, well, you can get some of them at Nordstrom Rack, Kohls or TJMaxx to save even more. For the watch, just get an Invicta. No one would know the difference and they are 100 - 400 bucks.

Maybe in Orlando, but in NYC, these clowns are in Brooks Brothers pin striped suits. The women are in power suites as well. I dress accordingly. I hate suits. But if you up your style, do it for you, not to say hey I look like a million bucks now, bytch, fvck me. Though, with the Lambo and some nice threads with some sweet looking shoes, you may be able to pull it off. Women and shoes... I will never understand the fascination. I used to just wear my Timberlands (had black and beige). Upgraded my shoes, so much more comfortable. Trust when I say your feet and back will thank you.
