I'm hearing reports that the guy went after his EX girlfriend and her new boyfriend. Sounds more like a guy who blamed his ex girlfriend for leaving him and felt he had to prove something and get even. That actually sounds more like some of the nastier set on this site than an AFC. Just sayin...

I'm reserving my response until more fact come to surface, but I have to say I had my suspicions when I found out the loose details at first.

I agree...this site would never have prevented a jealous, angry and bitter guy from doing this. If anything, it would have just made him even more angry.
Especially after following advice from a brainwashed follower of feminism.

You sound like a chick, you have to vent verbally/socially to have all your emotional problems go away. Guys can actually DO STUFF like SPORTS to get their aggrestion out. It could've been true like in fight club "When someone is really dieing they really listen to ya, instead of waiting for their turn to speak."
Physical activity has been shown to actually increase aggression. Just throwing that out there for no reason.

Clearly, feminists advocate killing indiscriminately. Maybe he was just an enraged feminazi.

Did you read the shooter's play he wrote that I posted a link to? One of the members here seemed to relate to it and just HAD to blame feminism in his post. There are some people on this site that need a good boot in the ass...really.

There's so many different rumors coming out it's really hard to say what is true and what isn't. I posted a link to some of the kid's Creative Writing that was posted online...a couple of single act plays. Based on the writing...he seems to despise the kind of male that guys here would refer to as "AFC"...and has a teenage boy challenging a step father (in an obnoxious and "****y" way)...and the boy seems to view himself as a victim who is smarter than everyone else and very manipulative. He portrays the only woman as being an easily manipulated idiot.

I'm sure I don't have to point out what his writings imply...

Check the other VA Tech thread for the link to the shooter's writing.

Sure...whatever you say...I'm just the biggest feminist ever...hahahahahahaha

Anyone who has been here any length of time KNOWS I'm not a feminist. Boobs don't equal feminist. But hey...keep right on blaming anything and everything but yourself for your own unhappiness. That doesn't solve anything and just makes you very LONELY and UNHAPPY.

I see you're really stepping up to carry the torch for the "old" sosuave. Or maybe you're just carrying the torch for old people, period. It seems like you respond to every thread and have one or all of the following to say:

1. I'm smarter than you.
2. you don't know what you're talking about
3. it was better "back in the day."

I'm not sure if you get this by now, but you're not going to change anyone's minds here. The louder you whine, the more silly your rantings become. Learn this: you're just a keyboard jockey just like all the other little boys on this site which you criticize.

Interesting that you read the entire thread and only have a comment when someone else flames me and I stick my virtual tongue out at them. No one can guess your real purpose posting...

See, Fran gets it. This site is for entertainment, period. Wyldfire thinks she can educate people on this site. Come on! This place is a site to waste time, not to win "debates."

No. But it can put a mentally unstable person over the edge.

And feminazis don't try to kil people. Just enslave them to the system. By using laws and other legalities. Presure groups are notorious for helping to pass special interest laws.

Get your facts straight.

Fvck man, the American sugar industry (a pressure group) keeps domestic sugar in business and makes Mozambican sugar uncompetitive, leading straight to poverty for hundreds of thousands of Mozambicans.

Nobody in Mozambique is killing anyone over this, though they are enslaved to the system "using laws and other legalities." Either feminism is the worst thing that has ever happened to the world, or maybe my facts are straight.

Its pretty bad. But so far the judgement about how bad will have to wait.

At least feminism as a practiced philosophy of governments doesn't kill as many people. Just enslaves them.

Look at Switzerland. Most feminized country. The women there have priority parking (kind of like we have handicapped parking).

Parking: http://jalopnik.com/cars/news/no-men-allowed-swiss-create-pink-parking-spaces-248181.php

And what about sweden which is close by? Also heavily feminized country. Tax rate: 60%.

Tax: http://www.heritage.org/research/features/index/country.cfm?id=Sweden

edit: that's just income tax. You pay more taxes later. For goods and services.

For crying out loud this thread is NOT about feminism. You guys are so ignorant it's not even funny. 32 people were murdered...it is a tragedy and feminism didn't have a damn thing to do with it. Feminism didn't chain a building full of students inside, trapped like sitting ducks attempting to execute as many people as possible. There is something called ACCOUNTABILITY. There is one person to blame in this and that is the person who pulled the trigger. His letter blames the victims...and based on what the media is reporting, feminism is about the only thing this guy didn't blame.

This is NOT a thread to flame me...it's a very serious subject...and a huge tragedy. Using this thread to go on some immature flaming mission is just pathetic.

Grow up...

I just wanted to point out once again, that Wyldfire IS indeed a feminist, despite everything she says.

I'm glad i called her out on it.
Watch out though, as she says, the more you hang around here the more she convinces you other wise with her rantings.

Before you know, you'll be helping your ex with her emotional problems.

Correction: 31 murders and ONE suicide.

And I'm trying to discuss about the underlying issue. Yes, the kid had problems, and yes he made a big ass mistake which he is responsible for. He paid for that. He's dead now too.

But why? Why was he so fvcked up? Why was he Wyldfire? Do you see normal kids do the same things?

So why is this becoming more and more common a problem nowadays?

I blame feminism in a great part (yes, I'm not subtle). Yes it was his fault, he made the decision. But who made him?
It's not feminism. You guys here contradict yourselves so much. Stop and think for a minute. His family is Korean...they moved here when he was 8 years old. His parents spent most of their lives in Korea. How on earth can the anti-feminists and let's hate on American women claim that this kid was raised with feminist ideals when his mother is an asian woman? She did NOT grow up here...his family almost certainly is more traditionally Korean.

Now that we've got THAT out of the way...

His letter was ranting against deceitful charlatans, debauchery and rich kids, blaming them for the shootings. Look the words up...the boy was quite clearly raised very traditionally and found the behavior of fakers, promiscuous young people and spoiled rich kids offensive. That's why he was likely so withdrawn. Even though he grew up in the US...the culture here didn't match his culture at home, most likely.

On another note...he wrote Ismail ax on his arm in red ink before his rampage. This could actually be terror related...because Ismail is the way muslims spell Ishmael. Read up on Ishmael's ax...

I think this kid may have planned and executed a terror attack, either on his own, or with the help of some group. There's not enough information to say for sure...but it's looking very possible. Korea does have a decent sized muslim population. He was going out somewhere all the time because his roommates said he never really hung around his dorm room. He didn't have any friends on campus and no one really knew him. He never talked to people even when they tried to befriend him.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this turned out to be a terror attack...

A terrorist attack??? Now, you have really lost it. This was a regular guy living in America who just happens to be Korean-born. He had been in the United States for 15 years, seven more years longer than when he was in Korea. His parents were dry cleaners, which tells me that they probably don't have a lot of money, which also tells me that he probably didn't fit in with a lot of the wealthier kids at school. I commend those that were trying to reach out to him, but I am pretty sure there were a lot more students who weren't so accepting. I highly doubt this was a terrorist attack. No one thought the same thing when Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris committed their acts in Columbine.

I said that I would not be surprised if it was a terror attack. He got the guns in Roanoake...a fair distance away. He had no friends at school yet wasn't spending much time in his dorm room. Where was he going when his classes were over? What kind of young guys do radicals target to enlist? Young guys who seem to have lost all hope, are low and feel like they have nothing to lose. This massacre was VERY well planned. There were three bomb scares leading up to the shootings, likely to test security response. He had to wait a full month between buying the first gun and the second gun. If he was so broke how did he afford the guns...one almost $600? Why go all the way to Roanoake to buy the guns?

He chained himself inside the second building with all the students so no one could get out. He had a backpack full of ammo...and knives. He signed the note he left in his dorm Ismail Ax and had it written in red on his arm as well. Why? His roommates said he didn't have a girlfriend, so perhaps the first killings were a distraction to the authorities. Go in a dorm, knock on a bunch of doors making it appear that he is looking for his "girlfriend" and then shoot some girl who has a sketchy boyfriend off campus to throw the authorities off so they won't respond as quickly to the bigger rampage.

His plan was too effective not to be planned out carefully...so yeah, I do think it is POSSIBLE it could be terror related. Not saying I am completely convinced...just that I really wouldn't be surprised. We did get indicators awhile back that there was chatter that radical terrorists were talking about attacking schools.

And this is kinda interesting:
