Yeah, unfortunately, all ranking programs have their flaws.

With AI, you don't get gender-specific input.

With human raters, you run into 2 different sets of problems:

If only women rate you, you're prone to getting rated on an impossible curve (example: the woman you witnessed doing left-swiping galore on her phone).

If both genders rate you, you get men rating you too. Straight men can't accurately rate guys in most cases. Gay guys can rate us accurately, yeah, but that's meaningless if we're not into men. We want to impress a woman.

Speaking of gay guys, I've gotten lots of attention (in person) from gay guys. If I was gay, I could get all the sex I want.

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you (as far as missed potential).

I'm a lot leaner than you (so I don't have the body fat thing working against me). However, I (in addition to being on the spectrum) have crippling shyness with women, a crippling fear of rejection, and a disdain for uncertainty. If it weren't for all of these things, I'd probably pull civvies on a regular basis.

That's fascinating, I wasn't aware the actor who plays the Riddler is gay. Might explain why I get mistaken for gay (a lot of times when a gay guy comes onto me, he's surprised to find out I'm straight).

Often the guy is well put together and can be the best wingman ever, why? Because good looking heterosexual women befriend them because they’re not getting hit on by them, this opens the door to you when you’re introduced, which you will be. As long as you’re clear you’re playing for the home team you might have a great conversation and spark a friendship. Most times they respect your stance and it’s like any other conversation.

The difference is the gay community is pro-sex, they don’t have the same reactions to sexuality as heterosexual women do. I realize this is hard to comprehend when you have issues with homosexuality to begin with and it’s anathema to you personally.

I guess the better analogy is that women use men that they have no interest in sexually to accomplish things all the time. If you had the agency to, and the lack of inhibition to, you most likely would as well.
