I'm not sure how you don't see how there is a huge difference and there is no possible way to make the leap you are trying to make, but somehow you don't.

You seem to really struggle with understanding context and how things differ based on that even tho they may say similar things. Not surprisingly you seem to struggle with the same area in your dealings with women. I'm not sure if it's fixable if you honestly can't comprehend the differences.

Never in Russia's history has their government ever shown their soldiers or citizens any respect.

Part of the reason why Russia has a population crisis today is because they treated their soldiers and citizens like canon fodder in WWII and in the subsequent famines that followed.

This is also why the Ukrainians are fighting tooth and nail to NOT be part of Russia..... They know Russia's gov will treat them just as poorly as they treat ethnic Russians.....

Ukrainians aren't treating their own people any better. Ukrainian human trafficking gangs are selling females and children fleeing the conflict zones into sexual slavery. Ukrainian border guards demand bribes from refugees trying to cross the border. Meanwhile, the internally displaced are gouged by their fellow countrymen, who charge them sky high rents.

It's also interesting that while the media has a field say speculating about Russian military casualties (usually quoting anonymous "Pentagon" sources and various armchair generals), absolutely no one is talking about Ukrainian military losses. In fact, I can't remember reading a single story on the subject. It's as if a decision was made not to cover the subject at all.

Nobody claims they are winning...only that Russia is taking heavy casualties and likely more casualties. The best Ukraine can do is pick and choose their spots for maximum effectiveness and then disappear into the countryside and do the same thing again another time. There is no chance they can win if they go toe to toe with Russia no matter how incompetent and poorly trained their soldiers are or how many generals get killed.

Russia has shown to be a paper tiger on the battlefield but their technology and sheer numbers are too much for Ukraine to fight one on one. They are highly incompetent in both tactics and planning and the way they handle orders forces their generals to be much closer to the front lines than other armies because their lower ranking commander's have little ability to change the orders if the situation dictates it.

A brigade of Russian Soldiers intentionally ran over their commander in retribution for the heavy losses they took...but oh let me guess, @Zimbabwe, this is just propaganda from the west and it never happened.

Note that not only does this "unnamed Western official" know that Russian troops ran over their own commander, but he also knows that they did it intentionally, and even knows the precise motive for their actions. Now how would that even be possible? Do you think that Russian grunts have Pentagon on speed dial? "Hello Washington, we just ran over Colonel Yuri with our tank. You'd never guess why!"

They are winning militarily, but their citizens are getting massacred as well. And in a cease-fire, Ukraine will bulk back up quicker, whereas Russia will have problem getting materiel parts sourced.

The Ukrainians have been using civilians as human shields to prevent the russians from shelling them and shooting at anyone who tries to use the humanitarian corridors to escape the war area.
