Hard to backwards rationalize a Canadian city name on the uniform of the Ukrainian firefighter
True, but it makes sense when a team of Canadian firefighters travelled to Ukraine to assist with search and rescue. It's because they're NOT Ukrainian firefighters, they're Canadian firefighters volunteering in Ukraine and bringing their own gear.

I have no idea what pictures you've seen, where you've seen them and in which context they were used, but does this have anything to do with it? https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/alberta-...rvivors-beneath-collapsed-buildings-1.5831105

Yeah that could be it. It could also be weird that Alberta firefighters (out of all the firefighters in the world) go to Ukraine.

A quick Google search reveals that they're not the only foreign firefighters volunteering in Ukraine, it's just that the news decided to make a local news article about these guys from their province. Then there's probably a bunch of people who don't get their own news article. Makes perfect sense to me, nothing weird about it.

You mentioned Canadian firefighters specifically, so with a quick Google search I found one reasonable explanation. Could also be a different team of volunteers you saw, but the general idea that people go there along with their gear to assist does explain why you'd occasionally see these uniforms in Ukraine.

Ah well fair enough. Although to be fair, when there are things like the pics below floating around, you can see why I’m skeptical of the narrative

Social media is particularly bad though, I don't trust anything on there. Anyways, it never hurts to dig a little deeper. Better than to suggest something is fake news without any evidence.

I speculate that Russian shills posts easily disproved fake news seemingly in support of Ukraine, the entire point being for someone to find out it's fake and delegitimize western news. I also speculate that some of it is lazy and incompetent journalists using pictures they have from previous unrelated events rather than just using the real deal which by now is very abundant. These are all speculations though and I'm clear about that, I don't have any evidence to back it up.

I'm well aware there are some pictures and videos floating around that has nothing to do with the invasion, that's unfortunate and frankly unnecessary given it's not hard to get real footage.

I support your skepticism, but be careful not to default to the opposite side because of it.

lol spoken like a true mod. Tell you what, when the conspiracy theories stop coming true, then I’ll take the left/msm seriously

Which conspiracy theories are true? Explain.
They all are...he will just keep making up stories and using them as facts to support it. It's why you can never win...they will go to any length possible to dredge up the slightest thing to try and support their claims then dismiss reasonable explanations for it.

I know. I want to hear the rationalizations.

Random observations do not prove causation. That's the part people can't get through their head. Until there is some type of study done that shows some type of causation, these are random observations that could be caused by anything, including COVID itself, which is well known for causing blood clots as it is a blood vessel disease.

Show me a study with peer reviewed scientific evidence. You can't because they don't exist.

Clinging to pseudoscience is a key component of the nonsense conspiracy theorists do.

So these blood clots magically happen after the Covid vaccine yet they aren’t cause by it? Ok buddy

and of course you didn’t address all the other examples of the media changing their tune that I cited. This is why people like me don’t trust the narrative and you, frankly.

Even if they are, with the number of people who have gotten the vaccine the numbers are miniscule and well within range for potential issues. There will always be people who have adverse reactions to anything...vaccines, prescriptions, surgeries, etc...

Acting as if these extremely small numbers of people compared to the total number of people getting the vaccine is somehow "proof" of huge issues not only makes you look foolish since this would represent something like 0.0005% of people, but it simply shows you don't understand the basic concepts that there ALWAYS will be some people who suffer adverse side effects from ANYTHING.

Does it suck for those people and their families? Yeah, of course, but unfortunately there is nothing that ever will be introduced that doesn't have issues in small percentages of people. Just impossible to test every possible genetic profile.
