I reckon they can evolve past it
Hi Vending Machine,
Just how long does adaptation to a new diet take, there is not much solid research out there, and in the current political Climate there wont be.

I'm not a doctor, but i've read about avoiding carbs.

If i was diagnosed with cancer tomorrow, i would avoid all carbs
My uncle avoided carbs and he still died from lung cancer.

Carbs should definitely go, though
Carbs are the best energy source. Do not avoid carbs.

People in 2025 don’t seem to be capable of nuanced ideas.

All carbs are not created equal. Cookies and potato chips are not the same as fruit, sweet potatoes, and legumes. It is difficult to overconsume healthy carbs. They are too filling and contain too much fiber.

This is why you should smoke your pretzels from a bong and not a pipe.

That being said, processed sugar is the main thing you want to avoid. Simple carbs after that. Complex carbs are ok.

Diets are for chicks.

Eat smart and in balance. Simple as that.

As for carbs: Veggies & fruits yes. Anything that raises your glucose too much (bread, pasta etc) keep to a minimum. It's not rocket science.

If you're cutting out foods you like completely, or starving yourself, you've been cucked by the diet industry.

I understand your sentiment but this statement might be a little bit over the top.

We are all addicted to bad food, even when we don't eat it. If I say" bigmac" 99% of us taste it immediately even though we're in different countries. Like alcoholics who don't drink, it's hardwired in our systems.

A diet can and oftentimes MUST be implemented in order to achieve a certain type of physique. I don't think it's wise to shyte on dieting because it takes tons of discipline to pull it off.

Some people have jobs that force them to sit down all day and thus it will be hard to achieve a calorie deficiency even if they would be in the gym everyday. The best next thing to do then is to adjust the meal plan.
