If it's bacterial like chlaymedia, then you just take one pill and its cured the next day. No biggie. You said it's not herpes so it may be HPV. Well, a lot of guys have HPV there are just do no physical symptoms. If you have the kind where it causes warts, then you get them removed. In most cases they never come back ( and in my opinion that means cured). Also when they are dormant, it is very hard to infect someone else. She turned on you and blamed you for "cheating" when you know its not true. Think of it this way, one person in this relationship is lying. Which one is it?

To me the call from Florida is a big red flag. She wasn't crying because she had gotten in a fight with her sister. She was crying because she got caught and she was gonna be turned in. She called you as an attempt to manipulate you into believing her side of the story, facts be damned. And it sounds like she did just that.

I broke up with my girlfriend - and i'm feeling better every day. I joined a gym and am going to concentrate on my health for a while. Time will take my STD away and make me stronger...

If its HPV or chlamydia, the probability is extremely high to certain that she cheated on you. So, vette, you diod the right thing - you have to go on that basis and next her.

The good news is that these are treatable and will go away over time.

Herpes is a different story. I have it from my current girlfriend of three years, and I have been dealing with the emotional fallout since I found out two years ago.
