There are beautifull women everywhere.
Its probably a a good idea to take into account cultural factors: sure if you are white or live in a place dominated by media that promotes blondes as an ideal of beauty you are going to be influenced by that to some extent.
And I dont think obesity is a good perspective to think about this, obese women are ugly in every race. Why there are so many obese black women in the U.S.? Don´t know, I dont live there, maybe economical and educational issues?
About that CNN research, it would be interesting to know the ethnicity and cultural background of the ppl interviewed...
And if you go to places like India, and such, where the majority of ppl are more worried about having a piece of bread to eat the next day its no suprise that looking good, going to the hairdresser, getting plastic surgeries, buying new clothes day in, day out are not a normal thing...
