You know, after reading that, I got chills from the mouse experiment part.

I didn't think of it as such, but, apparently I am one who has taken part in the "Sexodus".

Not so much because of women, but, because of the culture and society. After much disappointment with women, I decided to pursue my goals despite them. Not "because" of them, not necessarily "with" or "without" them, but DESPITE them.

I resigned myself to doing what I want regardless of potential for women in my life. I slept in my car for five years, saved up for a homestead, and rock it in the boonies now. I had been fully prepared to do it alone, with very limited dating potential, forever.

Fortunately, a chick found out what I was doing before made my escape and bought a ticket for the ride. So, it turns out that I didn't go it alone.

However, there are glaring similarities of that mouse study. :nervous: I went full metro at one point, was all about video games, was motivated to not give a damn about a family future, all that they describe...

These days I have the longest beard I've ever had, and as I type this, am sporting... oops, hold on, the coffee is perking on the wood stove...

I think the "dropout of society" guys have it right, but don't direct their energies in the right directions. If, instead of video games, guys started to regain homesteading skills, or built/made something, we'd see a huge cultural shift to a more healthy society overall. Video games are a pass-time, and pass it away we do. If we had other productive hobbies, we'd get something accomplished. As it is, we have armies of dudes on their butts complaining instead of doing.

If you've ever seen "Cool Hand Luke", you'll get it when I say: "Sometimes nothing is a pretty cool hand." When you see guys playing their hands better, women would have no option to be as they are now. "This is the way they want it, so, they get it." For every dude that drops out, one chick is left without a cack on the carousel when the music stops.

So, keep on dropping out, guys. Just, find something else constructive to do besides play video games. Collectively, we vote and otherwise can affect change, even if only in our own lives.

By the way, Facebook and online dating are video games for women. I will validate no rebuttal on the matter.

Honestly I can relate to the guys "withdrawing cowardly." When I was going through puberty, which is probably starting to end now, I was confused with girls as all hell. My mom or sisters didn't really teach me anything about girls so I had to pay attention to other sources that just "made sense" to me. These sources were anything from copying T.V shows, movies, youtube videos, google questions, and friends experiences/perspectives. All of them said the same things too so it must be right? After all, it is logical to give a girl "x" and she would give you "x" in return right? Not sure if it's just my generation or it's part of yours too but that's just what I was told and saw on media etc...

If it weren't for this forum and my willingness to learn something new I would probably be in that same "Withdrawn boat."

I'm not advocating this, but I can see why some men would rather masturbate to porn than deal with women.

Just a few days ago, I came across some interview on TV about some movie. I am not sure if that movie will be released, or have been released. It's a movie about a woman, all by herself, in the wild, suffering some physical and/or mental breakdown, and able to find herself again. I understand the reasoning for men wanting to drop out of society and women. It's all stacked against them. However, retracting yourself from the world isn't going to help you with developing real-world skills. You cannot gain any kind of success in the world by playing video games and masturbating.

Instead of dropping out of society and women, we need to adapt to the circumstances that we've been put in. If marriage is a no-win for us, then we should just avoid marriage instead of avoiding women. If women are running this world, then we need to learn how to seduce them without sleeping with them in order to gain what they perceive as "respect".
