I think it is time to start getting pics. Still not reached where I can put shirtless pics. But the rest should be alright. Give me some pointers, if you have some.

If there were something similar to looksmaxing for physical appearance, but for the social aspect? What methods could help you meet a vast number of people in a short time? The requirement would be that these individuals must not be from the city where you live, so that no one in your city finds out about your interactions with them.

@sharkfinale I am in the health and beauty industry and my advice is that you can use those products you ordered but keep in mind that facial moisturizers and OTC retinol (verus prescription retinol which does help but you need a doctor's prescription) will reduce the "appearance" of fine lines and wrinkles (read the labels that's what it says -- reduces the "appearance of") however that is only a temporary fix.

They add moisture to skin that camouflages the lines and wrinkles, they do not get rid!

There is a distinct difference - short term benefit versus long term.

In order to get the long term benefits to skin, hair, nails, mental and physical health, etc you need to start making changes internally. Through your diet.

Start loading up on your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids and extra virgin olive oils.

I mean like really loading up! 3000-4000 mg per day if you can!

Fish such as salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, trout are loaded with these fatty acids.

I'm looking at the milligrams of fatty acids in the can of sardines I have at home and it's 2,200. Per serving! Versus say 100 in one egg or 200-300 in a can of tuna.

They're expensive when fresh but believe it or not, the canned tins of these fish you see at the market are just as nutritional and healthy. And also delicious!

I eat one of the little 4 oz tins of sardines or herring in extra virgin olive oil and lemon every single morning for breakfast (220 cal) with an egg (70 cal) and half piece of sourdough toast (60 cal) dipped in the lemon olive oil from the sardines and my skin has literally NO wrinkles and is as soft as a baby's bottom!

NO commercialized moisturizer can do that, I promise you..

Also one teaspoon of EVOO before bed will maximize the benefits.

All those pricey topical moisturizers are such a sham, don't be fooled by their marketing and advertising techniques, please.

Organic virgin coconut oil ($8.99) will do the same thing, better! As it's all natural, contains none of that other garbage in typical commercialized products that can actually irritate and dry your skin!

You can switch things up too and if you want to skip fish one or two days, that's fine.

But try to incorporate at least some omega-3 fatty acids into your diet every single day.

Eggs, lamb, beef all contain omega-3s in low amounts, but if you really want to benefit, again 2,000-4,000 per day will do that.

Watch your overall health improve too! Omega-3s help with depression, digestion, energy levels, immune system etc etc.

The improvement to your skin is an added bonus.
This is such a great post it deserves a bump. I am definitely taking these diet tips to help my skin.

But I do prefer eating fresh sardines rather than in a container.

Also, if you're not applying a moisturizer, and using coconut oil, what about UV protection?
This might be very important to talk about.

I use sun protection lotion. SPF 50 for face and hands. Also lip balm with SPF. 30 for that I think. I think it can be applied with coconut oil.

Got an expensive hair cut. About 3 times the price of what I used to get.

It looks good. Also the guy taught me how to show volume and also strategically hide areas with thin hair. I did get more IoI's than usual when I'm walking about. But I did not have a haircut for the past 5 months or so. I was growing my hair out. Now it looks good.

Haven't started taking pictures yet. Will have to get that done soon. Any suggestions on what kind of pictures I should take?

Yes always use an SPF at least 30. You can buy these cheap at the drug store.

Apply over coconut oil; what is also healthy and beneficial for skin is Moroccan Argan Oil. A bit more expensive than the coconut but certainly affordable. I alternate between both.

I also apply a 14% alpha hydroxy serum for exfoliation three times a week. Exfoliating your skin is extremely important!

What I promote are products made by Alpha Skin Care, they are not expensive and they're natural and pure (free of parabens and fragrances)..

Drink lots and lots of water and lean towards a Mediterranean diet with natural olive oils, veggies and fish. And of course fruit. Strawberries are my personal fave! Oh and pineapple.

You are what you eat! It makes a huge difference!

Beta Hydroxy (BHA) is a bit stronger than Alpha Hydroxy (AHA) so 10% is fine. It's the percentage in most BHA products.

On a separate note and referring to health, I am really impressed with some of you guys!! (I'm female).

One of my brothers died from not taking proper care and developed a melanoma that looked insignificant like a small mole, and it traveled to his brain.

It's called a nodular melanoma that you get from the sun like most skin cancers but grows underneath the skin versus on the skin's surface where you can see it and treat it.

Correction I had this backwards, AHA is slightly stronger than BHA when it comes to exfoliation but they work differently on skin.

10% is still high enough though especially since you're using a mix of both.

Sorry bout that, it was too late to edit my post, and I'm still learning about all this! :D

A girl opened me with that when I was sitting on a public bench waiting for my friend, last Sunday.

I have been moving a lot and finally settled in a new city. I should be set up in the new apartment in a week. It is just a 5 minute walk from the hippest area in the city. Logistics should be alright.

The new year was the deadline I kept to update dating apps. But that has not happened yet.

Taking the pictures has been the sticking point. Either the pictures are so bad, it just cannot be fixed in editing. There is another possibility. I saw some youtube video which discusses image we see in mirror and out of camera. Like we love the mirror image more than the output of camera as we are more used to mirror image.

As mentioned earlier body is not there yet. So body pic will have to wait another two months or so.

Whatever the case, I just have to bite the bullet get the damn pictures and get started with what I have in the next couple of weeks.

Edit: Also went to a really good hair stylist a week ago. He taught me how to style my hair. How to hide the less dense areas and how to maximize the volume. He recommended using hair serum and blow dry for my hair. That is working well.

Uploaded a video of me playing guitar on dating apps. Took like 25 takes to get the 15 second clip. All other pictures are previous ones, pre looksmaxxing. Earlier got like 1-2 matches a week (across dating apps), with their premium offering. In a day, I got 2 matches. 2 on bumble (premium), 2 on hinge (no premium, regular. But did give rose to one). Tinder does not play the audio I think. Only 2 second loop of just the video.

Will have to take more pictures. I guess one has to take a 100 pictures to get 2 good ones.

Pretty bummed that even the premium versions of bumble and hinge does not let you hide age. Tinder does allow that on premium. So for girls 27 and below I will mostly have to rely on real world.

Is any one still following this thread? Would you like field reports? I do journal it for myself, but I can share most of that here too, if anyone's reading them.

Keep in mind that except for 1 photo and the guitar video, all photos on dating apps are old, unedited ones.

Bumble 1: 28 year old girl, in marketing. Bit out of shape, but she showed high interest and offered to buy me dinner on the app itself. I gave her my number and got hers. Texted and fixed date & time to meet at a Japanese restaurant, close to her. On the day of the date, I texted to confirm indirectly. Around afternoon. She confirmed. Since she is on my way there, I offered to pick her up. She accepted and gave me her address.

In the evening, after her work. Light banter, she mentioned she had hectic day. Then she went on to put it on me that I must be tired from my day, I should sleep and we can do it the next day. I smelled a flake. I texted her back why I can't do it last weekend. I saw her typing bubble but she did not send anything. After about 15 minutes I sent her "I understand you must be tired from your hectic day, we can do it another time."

She came back saying that she wanted to give me an out. She had no problem. I replied, "Nah.. Another time..."

She blocked me after that. This was last friday.

Bumble 2: 33 year old. In shape and cute. Divorced, no kids, psychologist. Bit of witty banter on the app. Got her number. Trying to schedule something, she works everyday with online and in person consultation, so only free at nights. That's my dinner time with OMAD. So I suggested dinner. She agreed. I picked a place close to where I live. She suggested a better place close to one I suggested. I agreed.

She was there well before time. She had a bit more weight than her pictures on the app. Those probably were older photos. Still good looking. But she was so uninspiring and dry in person. I tried to introduce some teasing, banter based on conversations in texts. But she in person was much more flat than online. Concluded dinner. I paid the bill. She offered and gave me half the bill. She ate and drank way less than me.

She waited for cab, I drove off. This was tuesday. No text from her, I did not text her. Till now.

Lesson: Never dinner dates even if that is more sensible for me with the my fasting. Better to break the fast early at home and do something else.

Everything else on dating apps just went nowhere.

I live in high rise building. The building has a few airbnbs that brings in girls regularly.

In-person 1: I was coming back from the gym in the building, top most floor. I wait for the elevator. Cute mid-20 something girl steps out. Then gets back in fast. Smiling and mentioned "Wrong floor". But she did not press the button for her floor.

I laughed and asked, where did you get on from?

She said, 'X city'.

I laughed hard and explained my question. She laughed and told 5th. My floor came up and got off the elevator.

In-person 2: Again in the elevator. I was bring something up to my apartment from the my car in parking lot (basement of the building). I was wearing a olive green bomber jacket. There was already a girl in the elevator. She was wearing a green trench coat. I pressed button to my floor. She was again mid 20's. Cute overall, but bordering anorexic, I would say.

She was completely checking me out, after she looked at me a couple of times. I asked "Are we twinning?" pointing at our jackets. She let out a nervous laugh and mentioned "My floor" and got out giving me the side eye. My floor was further up. I just waved.

Did not see both these girls again in the building. probably were airbnb guests or just never crossed paths yet. Saw other girls too in the elevator, but there were others in the elevator. So did not approach them.

Did not go out much last week other than the one date from bumble. Too cold.

I want to improve approaches in elevator. What do I do? Do I ride with them till their floor? If we reach their floor first, do I get down and continue? I will have to figure it out. May be I will ask in the forum too.

Also I am thinking, once the weather gets better, I will go out for dinner everyday. Plenty of restaurants close to my building.
