Tactic I Know Exactly what you are talking about.
If you depend on others to make you happy you will end up being DEVASTATED and bitter.
Secondly do not depend on other people to validate you, Just because ppl like you you shouldnt pat yourself on the back and feel good about yourself - Be happy no matter what.
When others see taht you are dependent on them they will feel uncomfortable or nervous around you. Because they themselves have the same insecurity as you. Some would simply stop hanging around you, Others will then deprecate you and villify you so they can feel comfortable in thier own skin.
Furhter more most ppl will screw you over with no conscience what so ever others will indicate your weakness and help you out, find the latter.
Be Happy No Matter What
The aposte Paul said he learned the secret of being content no matter the situation whether in abundance or in poverty.This takes YEARS to develop
Be happy for Your relaitonshui with christ has reached a new level. Usually when someone starts out on the road to self improvement the journey starts good. You are completely excited about your new discoverys and your new frenz you make each day.
Then you will feel dependent on them. And feel completely depressed. Understadn that God is pulling you apart from the crowd to make you become dependent on him. Be thankful my friend for you are on the right track
THe road starts with Joy , Depression, and then Contentment Do you see the extremes you will make until you discover balance?
This is what a DJ is all about. King Solomon Himself said the man who fears God avoids all extremes.
In terms of lust do not confuse taht with love. We are children none of us know true love. Society confuses love as an emotion. It is a discipline. Love as an emotion is simply infatuation do not confuse the two. On the other hand do not repres your emotuions becasue its what makes us human
Remember that God is a Jealous God He will remove the idols from you life to bring you closer to him.

At college I set myself out to become a Social God and A true Don Juan. So i spoke to everyone and was friendly to all. I let my emotins get the best of me and like you I depended on others to feel like a King. Suddenly there was a rumor that I was Gay and I began to lose alot of Friends and outof the blue people started to ignore Me. I would call out to htem and they would give me a Scornful Look. I became depressed.
But then I saw what God was doing. And I thanked him for it. He was showing me who my true friends were and that in order for others tgo enjoy my company I had to first enjoy My own company.
I am not saying that You should Isolate yourself That is just going to an extreme once again. Simply believe that you are the King. Look in teh mirror and say it out loud I am The Siznit, Iam the Shiznit! By words your mind will follow.
Next thing your feeling uncertain about your christianity? Thew devil does that. He tells plants seeds of doubt in us makes us become dependent on our emotions and state of mind. We began to think that we dont have the Holy spirit becasuse we cant Feel it. OR we dont feel love . Notice the need to feel? Learn to trust God. Learn to control your emotions.
And trust me You will be surprised how many women will go crazy for you if you hold on to your belieffs. Because that makes you a man. Remember Joseph and Potiphars Wife? He was simply doing his own thing and she went crazy for him even when He rejected her..
So my brother, When times are good Be happy, But when times are bad consider God has made one as well as the other. So throw off Anxietry from your mind.

Yes. I'm talking about this especific type Aw. You know, the type that only feels happy when she has guys fighting over her, chasing her, supplicating to her (even though she's not interested in them), etc. It doesn't really matter if she has a BF or how many guys hit on her in the past, she MUST be hit on ALL the time by EACH guy that crosses her path (and to have an army of men to cater to her wishes) otherwise she feels ugly, not "loved".

I was away on thanksgiving break in MD so I didn't get to respond to this in the past couple days.......
I read your long and somewhat scatterbrained message about love and I thought I could help a bit with it.....
You talked about not recieving love or attention from anybody.....first and foremost let me say again....YOU NEED TO FIND A CHURCH THAT FITS YOU!!!! Man my church is positive, freindly, excited, outgoing, even after being there everyone says hi to everyone, and I LOVE the positive atomosphere and ill stay there cause its an awesome and enthusiastic place to be.
Above this tactic, Giving and recieving love is like Smiling, you know you see the most stolid looking face on someone and you smile at them and what do they do THEY SMILE BACK.
This is because "Whatsoever a man shall soweth so shall he reap"
You plant corn and what pops up? WHEAT?....NO!!! Corn does. You sow a smile to someone what do you reap? A FROWN? NO!! .....You reap a smile back. This goes for EVERYTHING IN LIFE.
You want to be loved, you sow soo much love into other peoples hearts and you will reap love and be loved back.
You want to be happy, Sow happiness into other people and it'll make you happy doing it.
Theres a saying that applys to this that I really like
"If you want a harvest thats lasts for a season, plant corn,
If you want a harvest that lasts for a decade, plant trees,
If you want a harvest that lasts for a lifetime, plant people."
You have financial struggles, what do you do above and beyond your tithing? You sow money into people with needs and gods kingdom, and he do like he says in Malachi 3:10 "Open up the floodgates of heaven above you" and what will you reap .....MONEY!! From all sources that would seem coincidental in any other instance, job raises, big sales, random letters with money in them, checks for no occasion from relatives....
thats how God's Kingdom works my friend, anything you want or need....you sow it with the hopeful expectation of return and you WILL reap what you have sown.
Now this also goes negatively as well, You sow anger and hatred and you reap it back, you are negative and unhappy all the time, it's no coincidence that more people are rude and negative to you.
You have a bitter heart....and don't sow love into other people you will reap that back as you have right now.
I live my entire life by this principle in all my actions and it is one awesome feeling not only reaping positive things but in many cases more enjoyable in sowing them.
You want some books about what I wrote above, read
"Trust God for your finances" (has changed my financial situation 180 degrees)
"The miracle of seed faith" (Oral Roberts wrote this, this book has changed my life and the way I live it.
Lastly bud lean on God, and he'll help you....I promise if you are the most enthusiastic person and happy person people have ever met then you will reap it and everywhere people will love you respect you and admire you.
And don't EVER lose hope Tactic...EVER
